Polito! my love catlike 😻

Warm greetings on this exquisite Saturday, joining today to this great family that loves, cares and pampers its felines. Yes, I am arriving at the right time limit, to this wonderful Community Caturday, but we are already here, with the purpose of introducing you to my cat love, Polito!

As a united family, we have agreed as a necessary component of our integrality and applicability in our ecosystem of life, the irreplaceable presence of nature, where the interaction in our home with plants and animals is a locution of our healthy lifestyle, and we are proud to consider it a success in our welfare.

In relation to the types of animals present in our home, it has been diverse. However, it has predominated as a constant in our families throughout generations, the presence of canines, until the arrival of Polito. Perhaps this has been influenced by family tradition.

In the flow of events, a doggy loss, upset us, or to be exact, it upset me, considerably dazing my emotions and establishing sadness in my feelings. In spite of my attempts, I could not manage to mourn, I kept loss wear, and tear alive, refusing to turn the page.

During these times, a feline-loving co-worker, aware of my regret, insisted again and again that I be allowed to live with a cat. Several times, his insistent words came to my mind, but I stubbornly returned to the denial. I discussed it with the family and they had given their consent without hesitation, they were just waiting for me.

The day unplanned came, it was mid-October 2022, and I was staring at my colleague's home. Surprisingly excited, with lively eyes, he took me to his backyard and there were four beautiful kittens, already weaned and looking for responsible adoptions.

Three of the four baby felines, were very lively, and between juggling, they scrutinized my attention, however, I was captivated by the withdrawn and distant kitten that did not join the herd, it was a special sensation, perhaps we were both afraid of a new beginning. I watched him and he was immutable, he did not raise his eyes, always looking at the ground, in my opinion, it translated as sadness.

I immediately took the lonely kitten in my arms, I felt him tremble, but he submissively accepted my lap, without generating resistance. And so Polito arrived home, a Siamese mix of Siamese mother and unknown father, bohemian and adventurous owner of the night. The name was chosen by my daughter and apparently, he liked it, because in a short time, she associated it with him.

So began our experience with the felines, Polito is very dear and special in the family, we always show it to him, giving him his place, from the first moment. He has been dissipating his withdrawal and his confidence has grown, he sleeps freely and calmly for hours and hours, he is the living expression of sublime relaxation.

Polito keeps an eye guards his territory at night, watches suspiciously from the roof, and does not allow any invasion of his property. From time to time he makes his escapades, perhaps the reason is a tempting and beautiful damsel, I suspect it because on occasions, it has corresponded to me to heal wounds indicative of fights, most likely he has participated in fights for the dispute of a beautiful feline.

¡Polito!, mi amor gatuno😻

Saludos cordiales en este exquisito sábado, uniéndome desde hoy a esta gran familia que ama, cuida y consiente a sus felinos. Sí, estoy llegando, en el límite de tiempo expedito, a esta maravillosa Comunidad Caturday , pero ya estamos aquí, intencionada en el propósito de presentarles a mi amor gatuno, ¡Polito!

Como familia unida, hemos consensuado como componente necesario de nuestra integralidad y aplicabilidad en nuestro ecosistema de vida, la presencia insustituible de la naturaleza, donde la interacción en nuestro hogar con las plantas y animales es una locución de nuestro estilo de vida saludable, y nos enorgullece considerarlo un acierto en nuestro bienestar.

Con respecto a los tipos de animales presentes en nuestra morada, ha sido diverso. Aunque ha predominado como constante en nuestras familias a lo largo de generaciones, la presencia de caninos, hasta la llegada de Polito. Quizás en ello haya influido la tradición familiar.

En el fluir de los acontecimientos, una pérdida perruna que nos trastocó o para ser exactos, me perturbó a mí, aturdiéndome considerablemente en mis emociones y estableciéndose la tristeza en mis sentimientos. A pesar de mis intentos, no lograba hacer el duelo requerido. Mantenía vivo el desgaste de la pérdida, muy vivo a flor de piel, negándome a pasar la página.

Durante estos tiempos, un compañero de trabajo, amante de los felinos y consciente de mi pesar, insistía una y otra vez en que me brindara la oportunidad de convivir con un gato. Varias veces, me vinieron a la mente sus insistentes palabras, pero volvía obstinadamente a la negación. Lo dialogué con la familia y ellos, sin dudarlo, habían dado su consentimiento, solo esperaban por mí.

El día no planeado, llegó. Eran mediados de octubre, del año 2022, estaba en un compartir en la casa de mi colega. Sorprendentemente emocionado, con ojos vivaces, me llevó a su patio trasero y allí estaban cuatro hermosos gatitos, ya destetados en espera de adopciones responsables.

Tres de los cuatro felinos bebés, estaban muy activos y, entre malabares, escrutaban mi atención; sin embargo, me cautivó el gatito retraído y distante que no se unía a la manada. Fue una sensación especial, quizás ambos temíamos un nuevo comienzo. Lo observé y estaba inmutable, no levantaba la mirada, siempre sus ojos en dirección al suelo, a mi parecer traducía tristeza.

De inmediato tomé al solitario gatito en mis brazos, lo sentí temblar, pero sumisamente aceptó mi regazo, sin generar resistencia. Así llegó a casa Polito, un mestizo cuya madre es siamesa y padre desconocido, quizás un bohemio y aventurero, dueño de la noche. El nombre lo eligió mi hija y al parecer fue de su agrado, porque en corto tiempo lo asoció con él.

Así comenzó nuestra experiencia con felinos, Polito es muy querido y especial en la familia, siempre se lo demostramos, dándole su lugar, desde el primer momento. Él fue disipando su retraimiento y enalteciendo su confianza, duerme a desparpajo y con mucha soltura por horas y horas, es la expresión viva de la relajación sublime.

Por las noches, Polito cuida celosamente su territorio, vigilando con celo desde el techo y no permite ninguna invasión de su propiedad. De vez en cuando hace sus escapadas, quizás el motivo sea una tentadora y bella damisela, lo sospecho porque, en ocasiones, me ha correspondido curarle lesiones indicadoras de riñas. Lo más probable es que haya participado en trifulcas por la disputa de una hermosa felina.
