Stunning place. Bulgaria must be full of breath taking landscapes. I've only been to Bulgarian mountains but I'd love to go back and explore more. Great photography and story telling, thanks for sharing @lightcaptured :)

Some years back I hiked the Pirin mountains all the way up to Vihren! It was gorgeous!!
Me too! Hiked for a couple of days in the same region, I slept in the Sinanitsa hut next to the lake :)

I too spent the night at the hut! It was full moon - oh dear lord what a wonderful night it was!! Yes yes very rocky but stunning.
Lovely :) I can't remember if there was Moon at all when I was there, but the sunrise on the next morning was really breathtaking!
