HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME

El tiempo se va volando, es una frase que dije muchas veces este año, y el día de mi cumpleaños mucho más, no se en que momento transcurrieron 25 primaveras, pero aquí estamos intentando ser un adulto responsable y funcional dentro de lo que podemos, aunque en el fondo me siento como una niña asustada de 5 años y a la vez como una señora de 90 años que solo quiere descansar. Me causa risa que de pequeños vivimos soñando con ser adultos y cuando alcanzamos ese peldaño anhelamos volver a ser niños risueños sin tantas preocupaciones, en fin, los seres humanos destacamos por ser inconformes.

Time flies by, it's a phrase I said many times this year, and on my birthday much more, I don't know when 25 years passed, but here we are trying to be a responsible and functional adult as far as we can, although deep down I feel like a scared 5-year-old girl and at the same time like a 90-year-old lady who just wants to rest. It makes me laugh that we live small dreaming of being adults and when we reach that step we long to return to being smiling children without so many worries, in short, human beings stand out for being non-conforming.

Está nueva vuelta al sol me deja muchas lecciones aprendidas, creo que crecí mucho a nivel personal, complete muchas de mis metas propuestas e inicie otras tantas. Miro el tiempo atrás y me doy cuenta que es muy cierto cuando mi abuela dice la famosa frase de "Más sabe el diablo por viejo, que por diablo", la experiencia vividas te da grandes lecciones, que aportan sabiduría y una visión más amplia en tu día a día.

This new return to the sun leaves me many lessons learned, I think I grew a lot on a personal level, I completed many of my proposed goals and started many others. I look back in time and I realize that it is very true when my grandmother says the famous phrase "The devil knows more for being old than for being a devil", the experience lived gives you great lessons, which provide wisdom and a broader vision in your day to day

En fin que hago este post como un recordatorio a mi misma de que aunque los años pasen, nunca debo de ignorar o dejar de alimentar de alguna manera a mi niña interior, esa que sueña en grande y que le recuerda a la María adulta cual es el camino a seguir, y por supuesto a disfrutar de la vida. Fue un bonito cumpleaños, que me motivó a seguir adelante, enfocada en lo que quiero y deseo. La verdad, es que si me lo preguntan a mi, la mejor edad es cuando dejas de contar años, ya que el tiempo es relativo, y cumples sueños, es decir que comienzas a contar las experiencias vividas, eso es lo que hace que realmente valga la pena seguir viviendo; y para ello se requiere algo de valentía, una gota de atrevimiento, y desprenderse de los miedos que nos impiden llegar mucho mas allá. En fin, que la conclusión de todo esto que ya tengo recorridos un cuarto de siglo, por ahora me despido, nos vemos en la siguiente publicación.

In short, I make this post as a reminder to myself that even though the years go by, I should never ignore or stop feeding my inner child in some way, the one who dreams big and reminds the adult María of what she is. the way forward, and of course to enjoy life. It was a beautiful birthday, which motivated me to keep going, focused on what I want and desire. The truth is that if you ask me, the best age is when you stop counting years, since time is relative, and you fulfill dreams, that is, you begin to count the experiences you have lived, that is what really makes worth living for; and for this, some courage is required, a drop of daring, and getting rid of the fears that prevent us from going much further. In short, that the conclusion of all this that I have already covered a quarter of a century, for now I say goodbye, see you in the next publication.
