A medida que vamos creciendo la sociedad nos mete un chip en la cabeza sobre cómo deberían funcionar las cosas en nuestra vida, y muchas veces te romantizan tantas cosas que es difícil aceptar la realidad cuando te enfrentas a ella. Por eso el día de hoy te traigo algunos consejos de vida que he tenido que aprender muchas veces a las malas en estos cortos 24 años que tengo, pero sin duda alguna después de leer esto se que empezarás a cuestionar un par de cosas, o como dicen por allí, a pensar fuera de la caja.

CONSEJO #1: EL DINERO LO ES TODO O CASI TODO

TIP #1: MONEY IS EVERYTHING OR ALMOST EVERYTHING

Si, se que estarás pensando que de seguro soy una persona superficial e interesada, pero vamos toda la vida te han dicho que el dinero no es lo más importante, pero cuando llega el final de mes y no puedes pagar tus cuentas eso no es algo que te haga feliz. El dinero quizá no compra la felicidad, pero si influye muchísimo en nuestras vidas, vivimos en un mundo donde el no tenerlo te limita y eso no es algo que puedas simplemente negarte a ver y aceptar.

Yes, I know you are thinking that I am surely a superficial and self-interested person, but come on all your life you have been told that money is not the most important thing, but when the end of the month arrives and you cannot pay your bills that is not something makes you happy. Money may not buy happiness, but it does greatly influence our lives, we live in a world where not having it limits you and that is not something you can simply refuse to see and accept.

Nos han vendido la idea de que la fórmula del éxito es graduarte con méritos de la universidad y conseguir un puesto de trabajo bueno para obtener dinero. Y creo que el tiempo y la experiencia de muchas personas ha demostrado que esto no tiene que ocurrir necesariamente de ese modo. Como diría mi sabio padre, el dinero está allí, la cuestión es que tienes que buscarlo, el no te va a llegar solo por qué si, pero aprender a buscarlo y administrarlo no es algo que nos enseñen.

We have been sold the idea that the formula for success is to graduate with merit from the university and get a good job to get money. And I think time and the experience of many people has shown that it doesn't necessarily have to happen that way. As my wise father would say, the money is there, the point is that you have to look for it, it will not come to you just because, but learning to look for it and manage it is not something they teach us.

El dinero es la norma #1 del mundo, que si eso es algo bueno o malo, no soy quien para hacer ese juicio. Sencillamente puedo decirles que así es la vida, así funciona el mundo, en base al amado y odiado dinero. Y como diría Darwin o te adaptas o mueres en el camino, hay que entender que tener dinero es bueno y cuántas más formas de generar ingresos consigas mucho mejor te irá en la vida, independientemente de que esto venga de estudiar una carrera universitaria o no.

Money is the #1 rule in the world, that if that's a good thing or a bad thing, I'm not the one to make that judgement. CONSEJO #2: DEBES SER UNA PERSONA COMPETITIVA

Para Nadie es un secreto que vivimos en un mundo competitivo, no importa cuál sea el ámbito, asume que siempre debes buscar destacar, ser el mejor en lo que haces. Has todo lo que sea necesario para superarte cada día, mientras más habilidades tengas, más posibilidades de generar dinero creas, vieron como todo si gira entorno al dinero. En fin, aprende nuevas cosas cada día, toda inversión que hagas en ti mismo vale la pena, te catapulta a ese anhelado éxito que tanto nos obligan a buscar.

Si bien puede que no tengas las mismas oportunidades que X persona, porque no naciste rico, o hijo de alguien importante, quizá vuelva la carrera un poco más difícil, pero no imposible. El único responsable de crear esas oportunidades mágicas eres tú misma, céntrate en guiar tu camino hacia lo que deseas alcanzar. Es tu responsabilidad tener una vida plena y próspera, acepta e internaliza que eres igual de válido que los demás.

We have always been accustomed to selling ourselves as victims. Believing that because you were born in x place, or with x socio-economic condition limits you or anchors you to a certain situation is false. Although you may not have the same opportunities as X person, because you were not born rich, or the son of someone important, it may make the career a little more difficult, but not impossible. CONSEJO #4: MENTE ENFOCADA

Hay que aprender a tener un cerebro de roca, es decir, que nada te afecte, que nada te importe. Aprender a volverte una máquina de buscar soluciones y no estancarte en los problemas. Es normal tener malas rachas, pero no podemos vivir cómo víctimas y limitados todo por ello todo el tiempo. Hay que saber seguir adelante a pesar de las heridas, porque créeme absolutamente todo con el tiempo sana. Entrena tu mente a ser más fuerte, y a no dejarse vencer por las dificultades, todo pasa, todo mejora. Después de la tormenta viene la calma.

CONSEJO #5: ERES Y SIEMPRE SERAS TU MEJOR AMIGO Y ALIADO, QUIERETE

Hay algo de lo que quizá no nos percatamos, y es que la única persona que va a quedarse toda la vida con nosotros, es nada más y nada menos que nosotros mismos. Así que tienes que aprender a estar solo y disfrutar de ello, una ves más insisto, tu eres tu mayor inversión. Cultiva cada día la pasión por aprender y muy importante el pensamiento critico, esto es lo que te llevará lejos en la vida, tu mente, por eso cuídala y fortalecela día a día, porque ella es tu mejor herramienta para triunfar, recuerda que todo inicia primero con un pensamiento, que luego se manifiesta en el plano físico.

Una vez más volvemos al dinero, si bien el primer consejo de este post fue que el dinero lo es todo, otra cosa que tienes que saber es que la cuestión no es solo generarlo o tenerlo, si no también saber gestionarlo, de nada sirve que consigas hoy 100 millones de dólares, si solo vas a despilfarrar sin buscar crear algo que siga generando millones. Porque créanme, se los digo por experiencia, si hay algo fácil de perder en esta vida, eso es el dinero. El conocimiento es poder, lee mucho, información desde distintos puntos de vista, crea tu propia cosmovisión.
