Friendlymoose Photo Contest New Round -Religion||Catholic Religion [ENG-ESP]

Have a nice day, everyone. This time, our friend @friendlymoose offers us a challenge about the typical religions of our country. Below, I'll show you a little bit about the Catholic religion.

Cubans, known historically as Creoles, the result of a mixture of Spanish, African, French, and of course the aboriginal people who had already settled in Cuba at that time, profess a religion that has a bit of everything.

In my country, there are many different religions; by tradition, in my family, we profess Catholicism, since my great-great-grandparents came from Spain many years ago and passed on their culture, traditions, and, therefore, their religion to their future generations.

The image I showed you at the beginning of my post represents the Virgin of Charity of Cobre. It's a bronze statuette previously brought from Spain as a gift to my grandparents. Today, it's a family treasure with great sentimental and spiritual significance.

Lindo día a todos. En esta ocasión el amigo @friendlymoose nos ofrece un reto acerca de las religión típica de nuestro país. A continuación les muestro un poquito de la religión católica.

El cubano, conocido desde la historia como criollo, resultado de una mezcla entre españoles, africanos, franceses y por supuesto los aborígenes ya asentados en la Cuba de aquel entonces, profesamos una religión que tiene de todo un poco.

En mi país existen variedades de religiones, por tradición en mi familia profesamos la católica, ya que mis tatarabuelos vinieron de España hace ya muchos años y transmitieron a sus futuras generaciones su cultura, tradición y por ende su religión.

La imagen que le mostré al inicio de mi post, representa a la Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre. Es una estatuilla de bronce anteriormente traída de España como obsequio a mis abuelos. Hoy es un tesoro de la familia con un gran significado sentimental y espiritual.
