Landscapes almost like the Masurian lakes

The day was not going to be pleasant. In the morning the temperature oscillated around 0 degrees, a strong wind was blowing, it was cloudy and unpleasant.

Dzień nie zapowiadał się na przyjemny. Rano temperatura oscylowała w okolicy 0 stopni, wiał silny wiatr, było pochmurnie i nieprzyjemnie.

Soon, however, the clouds parted and the sun shone brightly. This landscape with the sun so low reminded me of late spring in Masuria. There, the sun falls at a slightly lower angle than in Silesia and gives a completely different visual experience.

Z czasem jednak, chmury się porozrywały i pojawiło się sporo słońca. Ten pejzaż z tak nisko położonym słońcem przypomniał mi późną wiosnę na Mazurach. Tam też słońce pada pod nieco niższym kontem niż na Śląsku i daje zupełnie inne doznania wzrokowe.

A walk around the pond is basically the end of the day, but before that I visited the work front in Park Śląski.

Spacer wokół stawu to w zasadzie zakończenie dnia, ale wcześniej odwiedziłem front robót w Parku Śląskim.

Widać postępy i niestety słychać pracę ciężkich maszyn, bo poza kapitalnym remontem kanału, rozpoczęła się rozbiórka dawnego kąpieliska "Fala". Kaczory obserwują wszystko bacznie

I am curious if the park authorities have included in the calculation the repair of the park roads, which will be completely destroyed by moving heavy equipment. When I watch dump trucks full of rubble glide along the bicycle route, I do not foretell its long future.

Jestem ciekawy, czy władze parku w kalkulacji przewidziały remont dróg parkowych, które zostaną totalnie zniszczone przez przemieszczający się ciężki sprzęt. Gdy patrzę jak wywrotki pełne gruzu suną po trasie rowerowe, to nie wróżę jej długiej przyszłości.
