The "Tradition" in Coffee Master 2025





My visit to Café Triangular turned into a totally different experience, where a new coffee arrived to show us the story behind it. In this edition of Coffee Master 2025, they brought us a special seasonal drink, which was designed specifically for this edition of the competition, among other cafés that also create their own special coffees with their baristas to showcase them.
The seasonal competition drink is called Tradición. This drink is coffee-based, of course, but it also has some eccentricities such as edible flower syrup, tonic water, and a blend of several coffees, which gives it a strange but delicious sensation. Let's say that the flower is what gives it a different touch and is like a fusion of flower and coffee, but at the same time, it has the sensation of tonic water. It's great.
I remember that last week they told me that this event would be happening from August 6 to August 17. They already know me at the café because I always go there. It's one of my favorite cafés, and of course, I also go there all the time because it's quite close to me and always on my way to the gym. So, I didn't remember that the event was already happening, but I stopped by and took the opportunity to try it. I was really surprised. It's not something you find every day. The flavors are different. Of course, the barista gave a presentation and told the story behind this drink.
It cost me around 13,000 Colombian pesos, about USD 3. I didn't think it was expensive, because they only do it once, but there was also a version with alcohol, a little whiskey cream, but I didn't try that one. It was more expensive, you could say it cost twice as much.

Mi visita al café Triangular se convirtió en una experiencia totalmente diferente, donde un nuevo café llego para mostrarnos la historia que hay detrás, en esta edición de Coffee Master 2025, nos trajo una bebida de temporada especial, esta bebida se pensó específicamente para esta edición del concurso entre otras cafeterias que tambien hacen una creación con sus baristas para exponernos su café especial.
La bebida de temporada de concursos se llama, Tradición, esta bebida es a base de café por supuesto, pero tambien tiene algunas excentricidades como un sirope de flor comestible, tambien agua tónica, y una mezcla de varios cafes, el cual se siente la sensación extraña pero rica, digamos que la flor es la que le da el toque diferente y es como una fusion de flor con café, pero a la vez tiene la sensación del agua tónica, es genial.
Recuerdo que la semana pasada me habían comentado que este evento estaría presente desde el dia 6 de agosto hasta el 17 de agosto, ya en la cafeteria me conocen porque siempre voy, es una de mis cafeterias favoritas, y claro, es que tambien estoy yendo siempre porque me queda bastante cerca y siempre de camino al gym, entonces no recordaba que ya estaba el evento pero pase y proveche para probarlo, la verdad me sorprendió, no es algo común, son sabores distintos, claro que hubo una presentación de parte del barista y la historia detrás de esta bebida.
Mi gasto fueron unos 13.000$ pesos Colombianos, alrededor de USD 3$, no me pareció caro, porque solo lo hacen una vez, pero tambien había una version con alcohol, un poco de crema de whisky, pero esa no la probe, tenia un costo mas elevado, podría decirse que costaba el doble.
