Día de doble celebración [ESP-ENG]

El pasado domingo 21 de julio tuvimos en casa una doble celebración, el cumpleaños de mi cuñada y el primer día del niño de la pequeña Amaya Victoria, por esta razón nos reunimos en casa de mis suegros para festejar y hacer de ese día uno muy especial para ambas, no hubo mucha planificación pero ciertamente queríamos hacer algo para ellas y fue así como entre todos hicimos posible una pequeña pero significativa celebración donde los más allegados a ellas nos hicimos presentes llenándolas de detalles y afecto.

Desde muy temprano mi cuñado pasó por nosotros para ir en busca de la torta y un desayuno sorpresa para la cumpleañera, hacer esto nos tomó unas horas ya que era fuera de la ciudad pero al llegar pudimos sorprenderla llegando con detalles y regalos y con esto iniciar la celebración.

Last Sunday, July 21, we had a double celebration at home, my sister-in-law's birthday and the first day of little Amaya Victoria's child, for this reason we met at my in-laws' house to celebrate and make that day a very special one. For both of them, there wasn't much planning but we certainly wanted to do something for them and that's how together we made a small but significant celebration possible where those closest to them were present, filling them with details and affection.

From very early on my brother-in-law stopped by us to go in search of the cake and a surprise breakfast for the birthday girl. Doing this took us a few hours since it was out of the city but when we arrived we were able to surprise her by arriving with details and gifts and with this we started the celebration.

Llegamos casi al mediodía y aunque el plan inicial era cocinar algo nosotros mismos todo cambió con el obsequio de un familiar de mi cuñado que envió con nosotros una enorme olla de tarkari de ovejo como regalo para la cumpleañera, sin embargo, faltaba con que acompañarlo y mientras se preparaba algo probamos algunos pasapalos para esperar el almuerzo.

We arrived almost at noon and although the initial plan was to cook something ourselves, everything changed with the gift of a relative of my brother-in-law who sent us a huge pot of sheep tarkari as a gift for the birthday girl, however, there was nothing to accompany it and While something was being prepared we tried somepaspalos to wait for lunch.

Una vez lista la comida nos dispusimos a almorzar y debo decir que ese tarkari no solo fue un muy buen regalo sino que además estaba delicioso.

Once the food was ready, we got ready to have lunch and I must say that that tarkari was not only a very good gift but it was also delicious.

Como siempre me encargué de preparar una decoración para la celebración, los colores elegidos fueron rojo y dorado que en combinación son hermosos. Inflé unos cuantos globos con ayuda de los chicos y armé un semi arco, coloqué un banderín de cumpleaños de los mismos colores y por último los globos grandes con la nueva edad de la cumpleañera. El toque final fue colocar una mesita en la esquina para colocar en ella los regalos y la torta y ya teniendo todo listo comenzaron las fotos para el recuerdo.

As always, I was in charge of preparing a decoration for the celebration, the colors chosen were red and gold, which in combination are beautiful. I inflated a few balloons with the help of the boys and put together a semi-arch, placed a birthday pennant of the same colors and finally the large balloons with the new age of the birthday girl. The final touch was to place a small table in the corner to place the gifts and cake on it and once everything was ready, the photos for the memory began.

Durante todo el día estuve tomando varias fotos pero también aproveché de tomarme unas con las festejadas en la decoración ya que ese espacio estaba muy lindo y además sería un buen recuerdo de ese día.

Throughout the day I was taking several photos but I also took advantage of taking some with those celebrating in the decoration since that space was very nice and it would also be a good memory of that day.

Aún faltaban algunos invitados por llegar y mientras lo hacían salimos un momento a comprar unos snacks y bebidas para pasar el rato y complementar la celebración.

There were still some guests yet to arrive and while they did we went out for a moment to buy some snacks and drinks to pass the time and complement the celebration.

Apenas llegamos de comprar llegaron los demás invitados para unirse a la celebración y con ellos trajeron más regalos para las festejadas de ese día. Fue allí cuando la celebración comenzó a tornarse más divertida, colocamos música, repartimos los snacks, algunos bailaron y hasta algunos juegos hicimos, realmente la pasamos bien y nos divertimos mucho, incluso Amaya que aplaudía cuando veía a la gente bailando.

As soon as we got home from shopping, the other guests arrived to join the celebration and with them they brought more gifts for those celebrating that day. It was there when the celebration began to become more fun, we played music, we distributed snacks, some of us danced and we even played some games, we really had a good time and had a lot of fun, even Amaya who applauded when she saw people dancing.

Todo terminó temprano porque algunos debían regresar a sus casas, así que finalizamos la celebración cantando cumpleaños, para lo cual nos reunimos todos alrededor de la cumpleañera y antes de que todos se fueran tomamos unas cuantas fotos grupales que habíamos olvidado tomar antes.

Everything ended early because some had to go home, so we ended the celebration singing birthday, for which we all gathered around the birthday girl and before everyone left we took a few group photos that we had forgotten to take before.

Fue una celebración bastante única y aunque en general la celebración se centró en el cumpleaños de mi cuñada Amaya también fue festejada ese día tanto con afecto como con regalos de parte de todos, sin duda fue un gran día que recordaremos felizmente en el futuro y de este quedaron muchísimas fotos para que Amaya algún día las vea.

It was a quite unique celebration and although in general the celebration focused on my sister-in-law's birthday Amaya was also celebrated that day with both affection and gifts from everyone, without a doubt it was a great day that we will remember happily in the future and This left many photos for Amaya to see one day.
