¡Feliz noche querida comunidad Family & Friends! Espero que estos primeros días del año lo estén pasando muy bien. En esta oportunidad vengo a compartir con ustedes mi primer post del año en esta linda comunidad dedicada a la familia en el que les hablaré un poco de mi celebración de fin de año, que si bien no fue como esperaba lo disfruté de igual manera y pude recibir el nuevo año con alegría y entusiasmo rodeada de los míos, aquí les cuento un poco de nuestra noche y todo lo que hicimos.
Esta es una de las fechas que solemos celebrar en casa de mis suegros, y pues, este año no fue la excepción, desde temprano alistamos todo para irnos a pasar el día en su casa y allí comenzar con los preparativos para la noche. Algunas cosas ya las habíamos adelantado el día anterior, como el pasticho que hizo mi suegra, lo cual es tradición en nuestra cena de fin de año y este año no podía faltar, mi suegro hizo pan para acompañar la comida y por mi parte me encargué de preparar una rica ensalada de pollo y de postre se me ocurrió hacer un bizcocho de limón, lo cual nunca había hecho pero este año quería hacer un postre diferente, así que quise probar con algo nuevo y el resultado fue muy bueno, aunque lo que no se me da bien es decorar pero aun así estuve satisfecha con el resultado.

Receive the new year with joy and enthusiasm surrounded by mine, here I tell you a little about our night and everything we did.
This is one of the dates that we usually celebrate in the house of my dreams, and well, this year was no exception, early on we got everything ready to go spend the day at his house and there starting with the preparations for the night. We had already advanced some things the day before, like the pasticho that my mother-in-law made, which is a tradition at our New Year's Eve dinner and this year it couldn't be missed, my father-in-law made bread to accompany the meal and for my part I was in charge . After preparing a delicious chicken salad and for dessert it occurred to me to make a lemon cake, which I had never done before but this year I wanted to make a different dessert, so I wanted to try something new and the result was very good, although what I'm not good at decorating but I was still satisfied with the result.
En la tarde fuimos a hacer una última compra ya que queríamos algo para comer durante la tarde, así que compramos unos snacks, dulces, refrescos y hasta de un vinito nos antojamos para brindar en la noche. Al regresar limpié un poco para dejar todo listo para la noche y mientras tanto pasamos la tarde escuchando música, tomándonos algo y comiendo snacks para aguantar hasta la cena.
In the afternoon we went to make one last purchase since we wanted something to eat during the afternoon, so we bought some snacks, sweets, soft drinks and even a little wine that we wanted to toast at night. When I returned I cleaned a little to get everything ready for the night and meanwhile we spent the afternoon listening to music, having a drink and eating snacks to last us until dinner.
Ya llegada la noche nos arreglamos y vestimos todos para comenzar con la celebración de año nuevo, colocamos música, preparamos unas bebidas y comenzamos con la sesión de fotos. Como verán solo estuvimos 4, mis cuñados no pudieron estar presentes, por lo que nos tocó celebrar solitos, primera vez que somos tan pocos, aún así no nos desanimamos y festejamos ese último día del año.
When the night arrived, we all got ready and dressed to begin the New Year's celebration, we played music, prepared some drinks and began the photo session. As you can see, there were only 4 of us, my brothers-in-law couldn't be present, so we had to celebrate alone, the first time that there were so few of us, even so we didn't get discouraged and we celebrated that last day of the year.
Normalmente a mis suegros les gusta cenar temprano pero esta vez me encargué de posponer la hora de la cena lo más que pude para aprovechar más la noche haciendo otras cosas, así que pasamos más tiempo conversando, riendo y la sesión de fotos se extendió por más tiempo.
Normally my in-laws like to have dinner early but this time I took care of postponing dinner time as much as I could to make the most of the night doing other things, so we spent more time talking, laughing and the photo session lasted longer. time.
Alrededor de las 11 nos dispusimos a cenar, mi suegra y yo preparamos la mesa luego de calentar todo, el protagonista de nuestra cena era el pasticho, que por cierto estaba muy delicioso pero además tuvimos en nuestra mesas unas hallacas, ensalada de pollo, pan, un rico bizcocho y unas uvas que eran para recibir el año.
Around 11 we got ready to have dinner, my mother-in-law and I prepared the table after heating everything, the star of our dinner was the pasticho, which by the way was very delicious but we also had some hallacas, chicken salad, bread on our tables , a delicious cake and some grapes that were to welcome the year.
Before starting dinner we made a small toast both for the year that is ending and for the one that was to come, we remembered many moments experienced in the year hoping that the new year will bring many more of them, after toasting I took the usual family photo having dinner and finally we were able to taste our delicious food.
Una vez que cenamos salimos al frente a esperar que se hiciera la hora de recibir el año nuevo, habían muchos niños jugando y fuegos artificiales, la verdad el ambiente se sentía muy alegre y festivo. Cuando finalmente llegaron las 12 nos dimos el feliz año y presenciamos los fuegos artificiales que llenaron el cielo en ese momento con tantas luces de colores, como cada año fuimos a dar el feliz año a los vecinos y nos recibieron con ponche crema y torta de zanahoria, luego de un rato compartiendo mi pareja y yo fuimos a caminar por la urbanización y estuvimos saludando a los vecinos y dando el feliz año.
Once we had dinner we went out front to wait for it to be time to welcome the new year, there were many children playing and fireworks, the truth is the atmosphere felt very happy and festive. When 12 finally arrived we said happy new year and witnessed the fireworks that filled the sky at that moment with so many colored lights, like every year we went to say happy new year to the neighbors and they welcomed us with cream punch and carrot cake After spending some time sharing, my partner and I went for a walk through the urbanization and we were greeting the neighbors and saying happy new year.
Fue tanta la emoción por salir a dar el feliz año que nos olvidamos de las uvas, así que las comimos cuando regresamos a casa y aprovechamos de probar el bizcocho que preparé, la verdad quedó muy delicioso y a todos les gustó.
We were so excited to go out to celebrate the happy new year that we forgot about the grapes, so we ate them when we returned home and took advantage of trying the cake that I prepared, the truth is that it was very delicious and everyone liked it.
Fue una noche bastante movida, a pesar de que no estuvimos todos la pasamos bien y recibimos el año nuevo con mucha emoción. Espero que todos hayan pasado un feliz fin de año y hayan recibido el 2024 de la mejor manera.
It was a pretty eventful night, even though we weren't there, we all had a good time and welcomed the new year with a lot of excitement. I hope everyone had a happy end of the year and received 2024 in the best way.
