Bosque Zaninelli - Unilivre 🍃 | Curitiba - Brasil 🇧🇷📍 [ESP-ENG]

Para poder rendir el tiempo de mis vacaciones estoy visitando al menos 2 lugares en cada salida y luego de visitar el Bosque Alemão descubrí que muy cerca estaba otro bosque que también quería conocer, asi que para aprovechar la tarde al terminar mi recorrido por el primer bosque me fui directo al siguiente.

To make the most of my vacation time, I'm visiting at least two places on each outing. After visiting the Bosque Alemão, I discovered another forest nearby that I also wanted to explore, so to make the most of the afternoon, after finishing my visit to the first forest, I headed straight to the next.

Nuestra siguiente parada fue el Bosque Zaninelli conocido también como la sede de la Universidad Libre del Medio Ambiente (Unilivre), la cual fue construida en el interior del bosque como proyecto de recuperación y transformación de espacios.

Our next stop was the Bosque Zaninelli, also known as the headquarters of the Universidad Libre do Medio Ambiente (Unilivre), which was built within the forest as part of a project to recover and transform spaces.

En un inicio esta zona era una una cantera de extracción de granito propiedad de la familia Zaninelli y debido a esas actividades el terreno sufrió grandes cambios formando enormes muros de piedra que a su vez hacen parte de el entorno natural que es hoy en día.

Initially, this area was a granite quarry owned by the Zaninelli family. Due to these activities, the terrain underwent significant changes, forming enormous stone walls that are now part of the natural environment.

En 1992 se inauguró la Unilivre, construida en una estructura de madera y metal y diseñada para harmonizar con el entorno natural, aprovechando este espacio libre que a su vez forma parte no solo del bosque sino también de la arquitectura del lugar.

In 1992, Unilivre was inaugurated. Built with a wood and metal structure, it was designed to harmonize with the natural surroundings, taking advantage of this open space that is not only part of the forest but also an integral part of the local architecture.

La entrada al bosque es bastante linda y llamativa contando también con una pequeña cabaña que es una tienda de regalos donde puedes comprar detalles o recuerdos de tu visita o simplemente un refrigerio.

The entrance to the forest is quite lovely and eye-catching, and it also features a small cabin that serves as a gift shop where you can buy souvenirs or mementos of your visit, or simply a snack.

Encontramos en la entrada del sendero un pequeño monumento conmemorativo en honor a la familia Zaninelli, antiguos dueños de la cantera que existia en este lugar y por quienes el bosque recibió su nombre.

At the entrance to the trail, we found a small commemorative monument honoring the Zaninelli family, former owners of the quarry that once stood here and after whom the forest is named.

El símbolo de este monumento es lo que se conoce como una muela de molino, una herramienta muy común que se utilizaba en aquel entonces para la explotación de la cantera.

The symbol on this monument is a millstone, a common tool used in the quarrying industry at that time.

Para adentrarnos al bosque debemos recorrer el sendero único que nos lleva hasta el final de este, un camino construido en madera que te permite caminar por el interior del bosque y disfrutar de la naturaleza durante el recorrido.

To enter the forest, we must follow the unique path that leads to its end, a wooden walkway that allows you to stroll through the heart of the woods and enjoy nature along the way.

Al final del sendero encontramos la famosa cantera de piedra y el hermoso lago central del bosque, un escenario visual perfecto para apreciar la naturaleza y la belleza de este lugar.

At the end of the trail we found the famous stone quarry and the beautiful central lake of the forest, a perfect visual setting to appreciate the nature and beauty of this place.

El lago es producto de la acumulación de agua de lluvia y los manantiales que salieron a flote luego de detener la actividad minera de la cantera, convirtiéndose en un ecosistema lleno de vida que además alberga fauna local como aves de diferentes especies, en especial patos.

The lake is the result of the accumulation of rainwater and springs that surfaced after mining activity at the quarry ceased, becoming a vibrant ecosystem that also shelters local fauna such as birds of different species, especially ducks.

Al fondo del lago se logra apreciar la inmensa pared de rocas que quedó de la cantera como resultado de la extracción minera que tuvo lugar allí durante muchísimos años, siendo este un escenario natural perfecto para admirar y fotografiar.

At the bottom of the lake, you can see the immense rock wall left over from the quarry, a result of the mining that took place there for many years, making it a perfect natural setting to admire and photograph.

A un lado del lago hay una especie de auditorio al aire libre, un espacio pensado para que tanto los visitantes como los estudiantes de la Unilivre puedan sentarse frente al lago bien sea para utilizar ese hermoso fondo como inspiración para sus clases y demostraciones o simplemente para contemplar la belleza de este increíble lugar.

On one side of the lake there is a kind of open-air auditorium, a space designed so that both visitors and students of Unilivre can sit facing the lake, either to use that beautiful backdrop as inspiration for their classes and demonstrations or simply to contemplate the beauty of this incredible place.

Decidimos subir la estructura de madera que forma parte de la Unilivre, la cual cuenta con una gran altura y finaliza con un tranquilo y pacífico mirador rodeado de vegetación, donde puedes admirar y contemplar lo hermoso y pacífico de ese lugar desde las alturas, obteniendo una mejor vista de la pared de piedra y del lago.

We decided to climb the wooden structure that is part of Unilivre, which is quite tall and ends with a quiet and peaceful viewpoint surrounded by vegetation, where you can admire and contemplate the beauty and tranquility of the place from above, getting a better view of the stone wall and the lake.

Sin dudas, es un lugar bastante hermoso, natural y pacífico, perfecto para disfrutar de la naturaleza, despejar la mente y respirar aire fresco, lejos de la ciudad y de los problemas de la vida cotidiana.

Without a doubt, it's a beautiful, natural, and peaceful place, perfect for enjoying nature, clearing your mind, and breathing fresh air, far from the city and the problems of everyday life.
