In these last days of the year I am always sentimental and I feel that 2023 flew by or is it because I am getting older haha, although I still have the mind and soul of a little girl, so I will share with you how my life is going in these last days of the year. WELCOME to a new short post, whenever I see a tree I feel the need to take a picture, so the days we were at the bazaar I took the opportunity to take those pictures, let's talk a little bit about the history of the Christmas tree.

Every year, the Christmas tree becomes the center of our celebrations, family reunions or gatherings with friends, but where does this tradition come from? The history of the Christmas tree has its roots in medieval Europe, where the day of St. Nicholas was celebrated by decorating fir trees (type of tree) with apples and sweets. The custom spread through the centuries, becoming adopted by different cultures and religions, until it became a global symbol of the season.

The popularization of the Christmas tree as we know it today is attributed to Germany in the 16th century. Martin Luther, the Protestant reformer, is said to have been the first to decorate a tree with lighted candles to recreate the beauty of the stars in the sky on a cold winter night. As the tradition spread, trees were adorned with a variety of elements, from candles to electric lights, and now every home combines colors and shapes, becoming the glowing symbol we know and love today. The Christmas tree, with its twinkling lights and decorations, continues to illuminate our homes and hearts with the characteristic joy of the season!

En estos últimos días del año siempre ando sentimental y siento que el 2023 se pasó volando o es porque estoy envejeciendo jajá, aunque sigo con mente y alma de niña, así que les compartiré como va mi vida en estos últimos días del año. BIENVENIDOS a un nuevo post corto, siempre que veo un arbolito siento la necesidad de tomarme un foto, así que los días que estuvimos en el bazar aproveche para tomarme esas fotos, hablemos un poco de la historia del Árbol de Navidad.

Cada año, el árbol de Navidad se convierte en el centro de nuestras celebraciones, reuniones familiares o con amigos, pero ¿de dónde proviene esta tradición? La historia del árbol de Navidad tiene sus raíces en la Europa medieval, donde se celebraba el día de San Nicolás adornando abetos (tipo de árbol) con manzanas y dulces. La costumbre se extendió a través de los siglos, llegando a ser adoptada por diferentes culturas y religiones, hasta convertirse en un símbolo global de la temporada.

La popularización del árbol de Navidad tal como lo conocemos hoy se atribuye a Alemania en el siglo XVI. Martin Luther, el reformador protestante, se dice que fue el primero en decorar un árbol con velas encendidas para recrear la belleza de las estrellas en el cielo durante una fría noche de invierno. A medida que la tradición se extendió, los árboles se adornaron con una variedad de elementos, pasando de velas a luces eléctricas, actualmente cada hogar combina colores y figuras, convirtiéndose en el resplandeciente símbolo que conocemos y amamos en la actualidad. ¡El árbol de Navidad, con sus luces centelleantes y decoraciones, continúa iluminando nuestros hogares y corazones con la alegría característica de la temporada!
