| Pour cette 160e édition du concours de Wildlife Photography de @photofeed, je propose ici une photographie d'un couple mère-baleineau de baleine à bosse que j'ai prise cette semaine. Une photographie intéressante où l'on voit un jeune baleineau sauter sur la gauche de la photographie, et sa mère sortant violemment hors de l'eau la partie arrière de son corps. La photographie montre un baleineau qui comme tous les "bébés" mammifères s'adonne ici à de l'agitation, peut-être du jeu ou de l'éducation. Mais ce que ne montre pas la photographie c'est qu'autour de ce couple mère/baleineau, il y a 3 ou 4 bateaux dont un particulièrement à une distance trop proche. La mère en a assez et lui demande à sa façon de s'écarter... Lors d'attaque d'orques, c'est la même gestuelle que la mère met en opposition aux orques afin de protéger son petit. |
For this 160th edition of the @photofeed Wildlife Photography contest, I propose here a photograph of a mother-calf pair of humpback whales that I took this week. An interesting photograph where we see a young whale leaping to the left of the photograph, and its mother violently pulling out of the water the rear part of her body. The photograph shows a calf who, like all "babies" mammals, is engaged here in agitation, perhaps in play or education. But what the photograph does not show is that around this mother/calf pair, there are 3 or 4 boats, one of which is particularly at a too close distance. The mother has had enough and asks him in her way to step aside... During an attack by orcs, it is the same gesture that the mother uses in opposition to the orcs in order to protect her cub. |
