Typique de l'époque Portugaise avec des construction de route pavées dont le matériau est disponible sur place (roche volcanique), les rues du Cap-Vert sont encore en grande partie pavées. Le bitume arrive, certes, mais qu'il se tienne le plus longtemps possible loin de ces superbes rues de villages. C'est donc l'une de ces rues, dans le village du Calheta sur l'île de Maio au Cap-Vert que je présente pour le concours de @photofeed de cette semaine ! |
The streets of Calheta! Typical of the Portuguese era with paved road constructions whose material is available on site (volcanic rock), the streets of Cape Verde are still largely paved. The asphalt is coming, certainly, but let it stay as long as possible away from these superb village streets. It is therefore one of these streets, in the village of Calheta on the island of Maio in Cape Verde that I am presenting for this week’s @photofeed contest! |
