For this 177th edition of the @photofeed LandscapePhotography competition, I am offering here a drone photograph from the coral reef of the island of Mayotte. This is a view of one of the most spectacular places on the outer reef, an island of white sand. These islands are created by the play of currents that bring coral sediments to the same place. This ends up forming piles of sand that emerge at low tide and make the place absolutely photogenic. There are several on the coral reef of Mayotte. They are visited for tourism, but are mainly used by birds, terns, as resting feet.
