Northern humpback whale migration to Cape Verde is coming to an end. Currently, we are observing the last whales about to embark on a return trip of more than 6 weeks. This morning, the quest was complicated by difficult conditions and well hidden whales! But our efforts and approach to sailing have been incredibly rewarded.

Whales are a spectacle of nature: a few years ago I went to Genoa, and there is a "whale watch" association there that organizes boat trips offshore, precisely to see whales, humpback whales and sperm whales.
On that trip, on the way back to port, discouraged that we had not been able to see even one, we suddenly saw a sperm whale!
An amazing scene!
Yes with Nature nothing is sure but all is possible !
