C'est un animal à la peau noire que l'on observe sur un fond de mer très foncée, autant dire que l'observation de cet animal se faite presque naturellement en noir et blanc ! Il n'y a que lorsque l'on regarde autour ou que lorsque la baleine est agitée comme ici sur cette photographie, que l'on observe une autre couleur, essentiellement du bleu, dans le ciel ou par l'eau agitée.
