Et puis, un mâle qui curieusement se prend à poursuivre la femelle en quête de se reproduire. "Curieusement" car une femelle maman n'est pas disponible à la reproduction. C'était donc perdu d'avance ! La femelle a donc perdu beaucoup d'énergie pour repousser ce mâle peut-être encore trop jeune pour savoir que ses chances étaient vaines. Cette énergie, elle en aura besoin pour repartir dans quelques semaines vers le pôle nord et aussi pour protéger son bébé de tous les dangers qui les attendent sur le chemin. Les tempêtes, les prédateurs, les kilomètres... |
