My Actifit Report Card: July 24 2026

Hey Actifitters,

When we went out in the yard yesterday, Le Chat was clearly trying to tell us something...

She was right, deer were here again, all over the yard. They did jump in the front yard when they saw Kaia charging at them.

And eventually they went to the small forest.

Turns out that's also where we go for our daily walk!

They were not visible, but Kaia quickly caught their scent and tracked them.

Luckily they disappeared before she could get close to them.

We still had the sun to chase.

On the way back, we found Le Chat as usual and Kaia seemed quite tired. I guess chasing deer ain't that easy for our old Kaia. So she just watched over Le Chat for a while.

After she had a little rest, we went for one last loop in the neighborhood, a short one as she was still tired. Enough to find beautiful clouds.

And the sunset! It's rare for us to be early enough to catch it before it goes behind the trees.

Pretty sure it's that same rabbit again that was hanging out in the front yard across the street. Luckily Kaia was too tired to even try to chase it.

And we finished our walk after Le Chat joined us again. I stopped to check the mailbox, these two were like 'you coming or what?...'

After that, I left them both at home while I went for a run. I didn't feel as good as I did on Wednesday but still in the end it was over 7km with a pace easily under 5:30min/km, so not so bad once again. With already 2 runs in a row, with only one rest day in between, it could finally be the beginning of some sort of training, let's keep this up!
