My Actifit Report Card: May 16 2026

Hey Actifitters,

It was a pretty smooth and quiet Saturday for us, after it started very late of course. While we were hanging out in the yard, Le Chat gave us some of her best looks.

It was a little too warm for us, especially since we had freeze alerts just a couple days ago, but we couldn't skip our daily walk.

Kaia went in the small forest, clearly tracking something's scent.

And she came back only to explore with Le Chat.

We headed to the bigger forest next, but we met somebody else walking their dog, and we know their dog is reactive and they're trying to train it. So we left them lots of space and had to make a detour before entering the forest. That was a good opportunity to meet wildlife at the edge of the forest. Many squirrels of course.

But for once these cute chipmunks. We often hear them in the leaves, catch glimpses of them zooming by, but rarely snap photos, they're just too fast and too small. But this time, it's like they posed for us. It was far, I think i had to use about 30x, but the quality is still decent, not too blurry.

And we finally entered the forest of course.

Again, Kaia was a bit confused by the initial detour, but she was in the lead nonetheless.

All the way until we left the forest.

After that, I wanted to go for a run but my knee was very painful. I think it's because of my left foot that's been painful for a while, and my right leg was compensating, putting too much strain on my knee. So I skipped the run and just got started on the house cleaning. I think I'd rather suffer through a run with a painful knee than cleaning the house, but it needs to be done at some point...
