It's another Caturday in My Actifit Report Card: October 17 2025

Hey Actifitters,

The main activities stayed pretty much the same yesterday. We spent time in the yard with a nice sun in the afternoon.

Le Chat was busy showing us all the crazy faces she can make while relaxing on the old doggie bed.

So we left her there for a bit while continuing our inspection of the yard.

Several deer were just behind the fence again, and Kaia explained very clearly: "You can't stay here!"

I am probably repeating myself, but the fall colors are really cool right now in the yard.

With various shades or red, orange, yellow, and even a few trees still completely green.

Le Chat finally moved, but really just to get closer to Kaia who was waiting patiently, now that all the deer were gone.

Our daily walk came quite later though, so late that we missed the sunset. But even from the yard, we could still see fiery colors behind the trees.

Kaia showed another one of her talents: yawning while stealthily approaching.

And she quickly joined Kaia. They were clearly interested by the same thing, but I just couldn't identify what it was.

And finally we were off to the bigger forest.

It was already quite dark. I keep forgetting that now, by 7pm, it's pretty dark already. But that's why we have night mode for photos!

Look at Kaia with her nose in the air, trying to catch interesting scents. She disappeared in the darkness a few times, so I guess she did find a few critters to chase.

And finally, before walking back home, we made a stop near our sunset spot. It was obviously way too late for the sunset, but surprisingly beautiful pink hues were still lingering in the sky.

And that was it for the day. Just 2 days before the Detroit half marathon. The weather forecast during the race is really not good, with lots of rain, and maybe thunder even. If it stays this way, that will suck! At least I'll have another excuse if my performance isn't good.
