My Actifit Report Card: August 8 2025

Hey Actifitters,

Second day in a row barely making it to 10k steps. Like the day before, I did swim, but it's not counted with steps obviously. Then a big chunk of time was taken by going to a nice restaurant in Cotes du Rhone and Saint Joseph wine country. Service may have been a bit slow, even for my very laid back standards, but the food and of course the wines were excellent!
More swimming and a little bit of work later, and it was already sunset time...

Same viewpoint, I never get tired of this!

After the sunset, with my step count being so low, I managed to convince Sam a walk was needed. Surprisingly he didn't complain this time, even if my mother didn't join. When we started, we were under close supervision from one of the neighborhood cats. With the different colors near its mouth, it looked as though it was making faces at us! But Sam didn't even see it...

Our route wasn't very original, we just went to that small trail nearby. The only difference is that all tall grass and weeds were mowed down since last walk.

Sam wasn't really in the mood to work on obedience but he had fun finding plenty of new scents.

Of course, this route opens up a few really cool views on my favorite hills, that's always a bonus.

Well, like I said, not the most active day, but that was a bit expected for this trip. I will try a short run on Saturday, but with the temperature reaching above 40C, we'll see...
