My Actifit Report Card: June 27 2023

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday the weather was surprisingly much cooler than the previous days, so of course we spent plenty of time in the yard with Kaia.

I also managed to shuffle things around so I could go for a run in the afternoon. I was surprised by the haze though. I kept reading and hearing about air quality alerts but somehow didn't register the information. Until I saw this smoky fog with my eyes. It looked as if there was a thick layer of dust on my glasses! And yes they were dirty (and still are!), but that wasn't it. Just haze from the wildfires in Quebec, impressive. Anyways, after my run, although I didn't really feel like it, we went for a long walk in the forest.

Kaia didn't seem affected by the air quality when chasing critters.

But she did rest while I was hunting for mushrooms. I really need to start putting together a few posts with all these fungi pictures I've been snapping.

During my run, I saw a few glimpses of the sun through the haze, but by the time we got out of the forest, we just couldn't see anything.
