A Cuban in China - Shenzhen's people

Nos quedamos en Shenzhen, una ciudad en crecimiento y es algo que se puede también de sus habitantes. Puedo generalizar que en China es muy difícil que te encuentres un problema con uno de sus ciudadanos, son gente muy amable y dispuestos a ayudarte aunque no sepas el idioma. Si fueses a tener un problema, sería por intentar negociar demasiado el precio de algo a un vendedor (me pasó).

Pero fue en Shenzhen donde tuve más tiempo de salir a caminar con la cámara en mano y de interactuar un poco con su gente. Me estuve quedando en una zona de hoteles y centros comerciales, bastante céntrica. Aun así, entre los lugares excepcionales, de buena arquitectura y algo turísticos, por así decirlo, se encuentran también muchos lugares comunes. Digo comunes para referirme a mercados, pequeños negocios, áreas donde la población no posee una adquisición alta. De ahí que mencione como su gente también está en crecimiento.

De esas áreas, son las siguientes imágenes, que todo no puede ser lo bello que es China. Aunque ya les digo, yo perfectamente me quedo a vivir ahí. El ambiente es tranquilo, aunque te parezca estar entrando en una peli sobre alguna mafia en ocasiones. Cosas que nos deja el ver demasiadas películas. Aun así, eran sitios bastante limpios, solo el ambiente con su gente rodeándote mientras hacen su vida te hacía pensar eso. Fue así como hable con algunas personas que me ayudaron en la búsqueda de algunas cosas. Solo me falto probar su comida callejera y no me refiere a insectos. No lo hice por el miedo al picante, que ya en otro lugar me había pasado factura.

We stayed in Shenzhen, a rapidly growing city, and you can tell that from its residents as well. I can generalize that in China, it's very unlikely that you'll encounter a problem with one of its citizens; they are very kind people and willing to help you even if you don't know the language. If you were to have a problem, it would be from trying to negotiate the price of something too much with a seller (it happened to me).

But it was in Shenzhen where I had more time to go out for a walk with my camera in hand and interact a bit with its people. I was staying in a hotel and shopping center area, quite central. Still, among the exceptional places, with good architecture and somewhat touristy, there are also many common places. By "common," I mean markets, small businesses, areas where the population does not have high purchasing power. That's why I mention how its people are also growing.

From those areas, here are the following images, not everything in China can be as beautiful. Although I must say, I could easily live there. The atmosphere is peaceful, though at times it may feel like you're entering a movie about some mafia. Things that come from watching too many films. Still, they were fairly clean locations, only the atmosphere with people around you living their lives made you think that. That's how I ended up talking with some people who helped me find some things. I just missed tasting their street food, and I don't mean insects. I didn't do it because of the fear of spiciness, which had already affected me in another place.
