A Cuban in China - Leaving Beijing to Shenzhen

¿Y este salto desde la primera noche en Beijing a tener que ir a otra ciudad? Pues resuelta que aunque estuve algunos días en Beijing antes de viajar a Shenzhen, no tuve mucho tiempo para hacer fotos con mi cámara, más allá de la primera noche. El objetivo del viaje no era turismo, sino el estudio de un curso sobre la promoción del comercio y me pasaba el día en clases. Pero a la vuelta de Shenzhen sí tuve un poco más de tiempo para ello. 

Por hoy les quiero mostrar algunas imágenes de lo que fue la espera en el aeropuerto, antes de salir a Shenzhen. Para empezar, debo decirles que solo teniendo un dron o algún lente de gran angular, es como podría mostrarles la magnitud del aeropuerto. Me quede fascinado por el tamaño siendo una terminal de uso nacional mayormente. Tampoco podía destinar mucho tiempo a hacer fotos por andar en grupo, éramos unas 27 personas de distintos países viajando juntos siendo guiados en todo momento. Por lo que hasta que encontramos la puerta de embarque, no pude tomar unos minutos para deambular.

Fue así como di algunas vueltas cerca de la puerta de abordaje, no vaya a ser que me pierda. Esa posibilidad siempre existe en un lugar desconocido. Fue así como hice las siguientes imágenes. La primera y la última son las que más me gustan por el dramatismo que poseen. En la tercera pueden notar la silueta de una muchacha que estaba esperando su vuelo y recuerdo haberle preguntado si podría hacerle algunas fotos profesionales, pues estaba muy bien vestida. Iba muy europea, algo que no se ve mucho dado que en China tiene maneras muy distintas de vestirse. Pero bueno, fue un quizás que rápidamente se convirtió en un no.

And this jump from the first night in Beijing to having to go to another city? Well, despite spending a few days in Beijing before traveling to Shenzhen, I didn't have much time to take photos with my camera, apart from the first night. The purpose of the trip was not tourism, but rather studying a course on trade promotion, so I spent my days in classes. But on the way back from Shenzhen, I did have a bit more time for that.

Today, I want to show you some images of what the wait at the airport was like before leaving for Shenzhen. First of all, I must tell you that only with a drone or a wide-angle lens could I show you the magnitude of the airport. I was fascinated by its size, even though it is mostly a domestic terminal. I also couldn't spend much time taking photos because I was in a group, with about 27 people from different countries traveling together and being guided at all times. So, it wasn't until we found the boarding gate that I could take a few minutes to wander around.

That's how I took some turns near the boarding gate, just to make sure I didn't get lost. That possibility always exists in an unfamiliar place. That's how I took the following pictures. I particularly like the first and the last ones because of the drama they convey. In the third one, you can see the silhouette of a girl who was waiting for her flight, and I remember asking her if I could take some professional photos of her, as she was very well-dressed. She had a very European style, which is not commonly seen in China since they have very different ways of dressing. But well, it was a maybe that quickly turned into a no.
