PhotoFeed Contest - Wildlife Photography Round 179: Turtle [ENG/ESP]

Turtle
Last Sunday, before the start of the 2026 World Cup Final, I paid a quick visit to my mother at her apartment.
After saying goodbye and taking the elevator home, I noticed something strange in one of the planters in the lobby of the building where she lives.
I walked over and saw this turtle among the bushes, which was unusual since most of the building’s residents are elderly, many of whom don’t have pets—let alone a turtle like the one shown in the couple of photos I’m sharing.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
Tortuga
El pasado Domingo, antes del inicio de la Final de la Copa del Mundo 2026, visité brevemente a mi madre en su apartamento.
Luego de despedirnos y tomar el ascensor para dirigirme a casa, noté algo extraño en una de las jardineras que se encuentran en el lobby de entrada del edificio donde ella vive.
Me acerqué y observé esta tortuga entre los arbustos, algo inusual ya que la mayoría de los propietarios del edificio, son personas mayores, muchos de los cuales no poseen mascotas, y menos aún, una tortuga como se ve en el par de fotos que comparto.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.

Que bellas en mi casa tenemos 4 aun estan pequeños o pequeñas aun no se que sexo son, pero son muy pilas, los podemos ver un momento y en lo que volteamos desaparecen, les gusta la lluvia cuando pasa esto salen de sus escondites, les doy frutas en especial el mango.
