PhotoFeed Contest - Portrait Photography Round 140: Faces of my City [ENG/ESP]

Faces of my City
This pair of photos, which I took a few hours ago on my way back to my apartment, show one of the security guards hired by the building's condominium association to ensure, as far as possible, the safety of the owners and tenants who live here.
Their duties include supervising and identifying people and vehicles entering or leaving the building, whether during the day or at night, as well as handling the delivery of food or merchandise requested by the building's residents from various local delivery companies, or even national or international parcel services.
Although they are not armed due to Venezuelan regulations and contractual conditions between the security company and the condominium, their presence in the building is very valuable because of the sense of security they provide us.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
Rostros de mi Ciudad
Este par de fotos que tomé unas pocas horas atrás mientras regresaba a mi apartamento, corresponden a uno de los vigilantes contratados por el condominio del edificio para garantizar, en la medida de lo posible, la seguridad de propietarios e inquilinos que habitamos aquí.
Sus funciones incluyen la supervisión e identificación de las personas y vehículos que entran o salen del edificio, bien sea durante el día o la noche, así como atender la entrega de comida o mercancía, solicitada por los residentes del edificio, a las diferentes empresas de delivery locales, o incluso, servicios de encomienda a nivel nacional o internacional.
Si bien por regulaciones de las autoridades venezolanas y por condiciones contractuales entre la empresa de seguridad y el condominio, no se encuentran armados, su presencia en el edificio es muy valiosa por la sensación de seguridad que nos proporcionan.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
