Mother & Daughter

May is just around the corner, the month in which many countries around the world celebrate Mother’s Day, a day dedicated to honoring and celebrating motherhood and the historic role mothers have played in raising and nurturing their children.

In this pair of photos taken a few years ago, you can see my sister and our mother, who celebrates her birthday on January 8, just a week after welcoming in the new year.

As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.

Madre e Hija

Estamos a las puertas de Mayo, el mes en el que en muchos países del mundo suele celebrarse el Día de las Madres, una fecha dedicada a honrar y enaltecer la maternidad, y el rol histórico que han jugado las madres en la formación y en la crianza de los hijos.

En este par de fotos tomadas algunos años atrás, se encuentran mi hermana y nuestra madre, quien celebra su cumpleaños el 8 de Enero, apenas una semana luego de dar la bienvenida a cada nuevo año.

Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
