Family is a term that describes the most general organization, but at the same time, the most important for man, and it is constituted by a group of people united by kinship.

These ties can have two origins: one related to affinity, which arises from the development of a socially recognized bond, as in the case of marriage or adoption, or by consanguinity, as is the case, for example, with the filiation between a couple and their direct descendants.

Over the course of time, this notion has changed and evolved according to customs and societies, to the point of including models that openly differ from the traditional family made up of father, mother and children.

My mother and my nephew, my sister's only son, have the same birthday, although evidently they were born many years apart, and we usually celebrate both of them with a family gathering that usually includes lunch or dinner.

Last year, we celebrated with a lunch at a well-known social club in the city, and as it usually happens in this type of events, the family photos to immortalize through images this moment, were not long in coming. However, we rarely talk about the vicissitudes that we photographers usually face during an improvised session while the photographed seek to pose in the best possible way for the camera or the available device.

As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.

Familia es un término que describe a la organización más general, pero a la vez, más importante para el hombre, y está constituída por un conjunto de personas unidas a partir de un parentesco.

Estos vínculos pueden tener dos orígenes: una relacionada a la afinidad que surge a partir del desarrollo de un vínculo reconocido a nivel social, como es el caso del matrimonio o de una adopción, o por consanguinidad, como sucede, por ejemplo, con la filiación entre una pareja y sus descendientes directos.

Con el transcurso del tiempo, esta noción ha ido cambiando y evolucionando de acuerdo a las costumbres y sociedades, hasta incluir modelos que difieren abiertamente de la familia tradicional constituída por padre, madre e hijos.

Mi madre y mi sobrino, el único hijo de mi hermana, cumplen el mismo día, aunque evidentemente nacieron con muchos años de diferencia, y generalmente acostumbramos a celebrar a los dos cumpleañeros con un encuentro familiar que suele incluir un almuerzo o cena.

El año pasado, festejamos con un almuerzo en un conocido club social de la ciudad, y como suele suceder en este tipo de eventos, las fotos familiares para inmortalizar a través de las imágenes este momento, no se hicieron esperar. Sin embargo, raras veces se habla de las vicisitudes que solemos enfrentar los fotógrafos durante una improvisada sesión mientras los fotografiados buscan posar de la mejor manera posible para la cámara o el dispositivo disponible.

Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
