PhotoFeed Contest - Cityscape Photography Round 141: Orchid [ENG/ESP]

Orchid
This morning, while walking through the nearby streets on my way to a well-known shopping center, I had the opportunity to admire and photograph the Flor de Venezuela (Flower of Venezuela) once again, with its petals open and fully displayed.
This iconic work, which has become one of the city's main tourist destinations, is inspired by the orchid, the national flower, and the tepuis, ancient geological formations located in southern Venezuela, in the Amazon region.
In 2000, it served as an exhibition pavilion at the Expo held in the German city of Hannover, and at the end of this event, it was dismantled, transported, and installed in its current location.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
Orquídea
Esta mañana mientras caminaba por las calles cercanas en dirección a un reconocido centro comercial, tuve la oportunidad de apreciar y fotografiar nuevamente a la Flor de Venezuela con sus pétalos abiertos o completamente desplegados.
Esta emblemática obra que se ha convertido en uno de los principales destinos turísticos de la ciudad, está inspirada en la orquídea, la flor nacional, y los tepuyes, unas antiguas formaciones geológicas ubicadas en el sur de Venezuela, en la región amazónica.
En el año 2000 sirvió como pabellón de exhibiciones en el Expo realizado en la ciudad alemana de Hannover, y al finalizar este evento, fué desmontado, transportado e instalado en el lugar donde se encuentra actualmente.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
