City Views

Last weekend, my oldest son and his girlfriend came to Barquisimeto to visit me, to see his family on his father’s side, and also so she could get to know our city, since she had never been here before.

Among the different places we visited during those days, the Manto de María Divina Pastora Monument (Monument to the Mantle of Mary, Divine Shepherdess) stands out. It is a religious monument that has become one of the region’s tourist attractions, located on a hill on the outskirts of the city, offering a view of part of the city, as can be seen in the photos I’m sharing in this post.

As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.

Vistas de la Ciudad

El pasado fin de semana, mi hijo mayor y su novia, vinieron a Barquisimeto a visitarme, a visitar a la familia paterna, y también, a que ella tuviera la oportunidad de conocer nuestra ciudad dado que nunca había estado anteriormente.

Entre los diferentes lugares que recorrimos durante esos días, destaca el Monumento Manto de María Divina Pastora, un monumento religioso que se ha convertido en uno de los atractivos turísticos de la región, y que se encuentra ubicado en una colina en las afueras y desde donde es posible observar una parte de la ciudad, como puede apreciarse en las fotos que comparto en este post.

Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
