Holy Week

Last Good Friday, I had the opportunity to take some photos of buildings in the city center, an area I don’t usually visit, while participating in the Seven Churches procession, a centuries-old Catholic tradition that originated in Rome in the mid-16th century.

As the name suggests, this activity, which is part of Holy Week celebrations, consists of visiting seven churches representing the number of stations or stops Jesus made on the day of his crucifixion.

As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.

Semana Santa

El pasado Viernes Santo, tuve la oportunidad de tomar algunas fotos de algunos edificios del centro de la ciudad, zona que suelo frecuentar; mientras realizaba el recorrido de los siete templos, una centenaria tradición católica que se originó en Roma a mediados del Siglo XVI.

Como su nombre lo indica, esta actividad propia de la celebración de la Semana Santa, consiste en visitar siete iglesias que representan el número de estaciones o traslados que vivió Jesús el día de su crucifixión.

Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
