Security

At the entrance to the building where I live, we have a security booth and three security guards who work 24-hour shifts, then hand over to the next security officer and go home until their next shift.

Although it is a quiet area with little traffic, their fundamental duties are not limited to controlling the people and vehicles that enter or leave the residence, but also include monitoring the daily water intake to the underground tank, or turning the power plant on or off when there are power outages, something that has unfortunately become common in Venezuela in recent years.

As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.

Seguridad

En la entrada del edificio donde vivo, tenemos una caseta de vigilancia y tres vigilantes que laboran turnos de 24 horas cada uno para luego entregar la guardia al siguiente oficial de seguridad e irse a sus hogares hasta el próximo turno.

Aunque es una zona tranquila y sin mayor movimiento, sus funciones fundamentales no se limitan solo al control de las personas y vehículos que entran o salen de la residencia, sinó que también incluye monitorizar a diario la entrada de agua al tanque subterráneo, o el encendido o apagado de la planta eléctrica cuando se producen los cortes de electricidad, algo que lamentablemente se ha convertido en algo común en Venezuela en los últimos años.

Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
