PhotoFeed Contest - Black & White Photography Round 172: Mother [ENG/ESP]

Mother
This monument, crafted from marble and granite, is located in the outdoor area of Jacinto Lara International Airport in the city of Barquisimeto, in western central Venezuela.
It was named the Plaza a la Madre Monument (Mother’s Square Monument), and although it has no connection whatsoever to air travel, for some reason it was placed there many years ago, becoming a true hidden gem of the city—one that few people talk about or share on social media.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
Madre
Este monumento elaborado en mármol y granito, se encuentra en las áreas exteriores del Aeropuerto Internacional Jacinto Lara de la ciudad de Barquisimeto, en el centro occidente de Venezuela.
Se le bautizó como Monumento Plaza a la Madre, y aunque no está relacionado de ninguna manera con el transporte aéreo, por alguna razón fué colocado allí hace muchos años, convirtiéndose en una verdadera joya escondida de la ciudad, y de la pocos hablan o presumen en sus redes sociales.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
