MAINTENANCE OF PARAFFIN HEATERS [ING - ESP]

Good evening hive friends, I hope you are feeling well.
Today I want to share with you something that I had to do for the first time.
I am from Venezuela and I came to spend a season with two of my children in Chile and at this time it is winter here, in the house that I am as in many houses in this country there is heating either by gas, electricity, wood, paraffin, ect. In our case it is a paraffin heating and every now and then we have to do maintenance because it starts to smoke and smells a lot of paraffin, as I had never done maintenance to this type of heating I asked my daughter's husband and he told me what I had to do.
The first thing I did was to disassemble the removable parts of the heater and clean each of these parts but the most important part to clean well is the wick which must be removed all the carbon that accumulates in it.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes algo que me tocó hacer por primera vez.
Yo soy de Venezuela y vine a pasar una temporada con dos de mis hijos en chile y en esta época es invierno aquí,en la casa que estoy como en muchas casas de este país hay calefacción bien sea por gas ,electricidad, madera , parafina,ect. En nuestro caso es una calefacción de parafina y cada cierto tiempo hay que hacerle mantenimiento ya que empieza a ahumar y huele mucho a parafina, como nunca había hecho un mantenimiento a este tipo de calefacción pregunté al esposo de mi hija y me dijo lo que tenía que hacer.
Lo primero que hice fue desarmar las partes removibles de la calefacción y limpie cada una de estas partes pero la parte más importante que hay que limpiar bien es la mecha a la cual hay que retirarle todo el carbón que se acumula en esta .

está la limpie con un brillo de alambre y otra parte también importante es el quemador el cual limpie con un lija, ya al tener todo bien limpio procedí a armar la calefacción y luego le coloque la parafina y procedí a encenderla y a disfrutar de un calorcito rico y sin humo.
