SQUIRETOWN PARK / Hampton Bays, L.I. NY
(Edited)
Relatively new Park, bought by Southampton township for 16.5 million from Nassau County Girl Scouts.
65 Acre property borders Great Peconic Bay with views from the high sand cliffs.
Starting our walk along the parks beach.
Overcast day but good for a walk.
Eerie looking oak trees with bare trunks climbing the cliff.
Framed this shot to divide cliff, beach, water and sky as evenly as I could.
Looking behind me.
Cliff erosion.
Coming up to a new stairway just built by the town last year.
We decide to climb the stairs and walk back through the park to where the car is parked, outside the park.

The length of this beach is incredibly long, which makes it ideal for a Wednesday walk dear friend @manorvillemike

Thank you for your positive comments @jlufer
I envy you having such a great spot to enjoy. Those bare tree trunks really are eery-looking but so cool too. You really captured the scenery wonderfully Mike.
Thanks @sunscape I try.. Want to take more pictures with camera instead of cell-phone.
