Down by the Flowing Waters //
(Edited)
Wading River is a small tidal river that empties into Long Island Sound on L.I.'s north shore.
The tiny river runs through marsh/bogs that support much marine life. The high tide rises 6 feet to bringing nutrients feeding the animal & plants therein.

Near by boat ramp showing very high tide.
Puddles indicating tide had come up into the parking area.
That is the defunct Shoreham nuclear power plant in the background.
