Gold Bathed Sheep

Greetings, Fellow Shepherds of Various Methods and Backgrounds!

This be the report of a chance meeting at sunset not far from hometown base.

We're occasionally scouting around the villages in a thirty-minute range. Know your region is what I we got to. And it is pretty diverse, although the same in many aspects. Lots of hills, mountain footsteps, forests, fields and small river gorges. A good area for a ranger to tramp about.

And it's quite sheep-populated, in fact. Or at least, relatively. Not to the past. To other regions.

Camera Settings:

Aperture F 4;
Shutter Speed 1/1600 sec;
Light Sensitivity ISO 800;
Focal Length 109 mm.

Anything would look better at sunset, in that golden hour that is the perfect time for photography and one would be most happy and successful could one carry it along on any photo shoot. Exceptional places can't make exceptional photography without exceptional lighting conditions. Not an absolute but pretty descriptive of the basics we need.

Then again, when you have the light... and a camera... but you are nowhere exceptional...

You either live on with it or you strife to find something that might invoke a bit of interest if looked at in that artistic way that you have. Or don't.

I am also often trying to capture anything that might serve as a nice reference for a painting. And it does happen, from time to time. For somebody as proficient as @silver.art, my wife and partner, it is the stepping stone, the convenience that would give birth to yet another piece of better, higher art form.

She has them sheep ready and painted. Let's see if she would publish them here as well, anytime soon. Just a mild suggestion and some... hope.
