Does farsightedness decrease with time? That is strange, I thought it was the other way around. Ay...
Somebody once told me that old eyes become a bit farsighted and that's the reason why older men often hold newspapers with nearly extended arms. Like in this img

If you get farsightedness very young, your eyes are not yet fully grown, and as long as your eyes are not yet fully grown, farsightedness can improve. Once your eyes are fully grown it will stabilize, only to get worse again as a result of older age. But that doesn't happen to everyone.
