Day 140/365: Road Trip To Chitwan National Park #Day 1

Hello everyone,

Weekends are a great time to spend with family. So, this weekend, we decided to go to Chitwan. This is the first national park in Nepal, established in 1973.

The total area of the park is about 952.63 km and there are some rare mammals like the one-horned rhinoceros and bengal tigers in this park. There are also more than 50 mammal species, 525 birds and 55 amphibians and reptiles.

We drove from Kathmandu to Chitwan, which was about 180 kms and it took us around 6 hours. Road trips are always amazing, as we get to enjoy the view with friends and family more. Here, in Nepal, I love road trips a lot as I love nature and the entire journey was filled with mountains, lakes and rivers.

I’m sharing some of the photos from our day one trip to Chitwan.
