Treating myself with a beach tour in summer time

Hello readers,

In today’s modern world, almost every one of us holds a smartphone to interact with the world and perform different tasks daily while using our devices. I personally believe that Technology has not only made our lives easier but has also completely reshaped our lifestyle and behavior. Nowadays, whenever we go out for an outing or a vacation, we don't need to carry a camera with us because the smartphone in our pocket can do that for us. As I love to click photos and have a soft corner for photography since my childhood days, having a good camera phone is like a blessing for me and whenever I go for a vacation or travel long distances or to new places, I always bring out my phone each time I see a scene worth capturing. In today’s post, I will showcase some of the photos that I captured using my phone and hope you guys enjoy them. So without any further delay, let’s continue.

I took this photo a while back during my visit to a nearby beach in Digha which is located in our state. It was a 4 hour distance from my home and just after my wedding, I planned a tour with my wife and went there with my whole family including my parents and brother. We stayed there for 2 days and enjoyed the ocean and the blue sky. It was summertime and the weather was also clear when we visited the beach and as you can see, the whole beach was so crowded because it was Weekend time. The bank of the beach was covered by large stones to protect the beach from waves and it was also giving it a better view. There were small stalls spread throughout the beach selling different types of delicious seafood, coconuts and soft drinks, ice creams and balloons, clothes and mementos and many more things. The sky was bluish and its reflection on the ocean was also making it blue which I really enjoyed seeing. However, we reached there during noon time and it was very hot during that time, so after staying for a little we came back to our hotel room and visited again during evening time to enjoy the cold breeze while enjoying fish fries and other dishes.

Now, this is another shot that I took during the same tour and as you can see from the photo, this long road was made from the main street to the end of the beach which is called the Jetty. The road was made with large concrete slabs and both ends were filled with large stones so that it stays protected against ocean waves. When fishing ships go for a sail or return to the beach, they use to anchor at the end side of this Jetty and the road also helps to transport the fish easily. When we visited this place it was afternoon time and the the orange light from sunset gave it a mesmerizing look and I couldn’t resist taking some photos of this great scene. As you can see in the photo, one side of the road is completely ocean and the other side is sandy beach which gives it feel like the road is dividing the ocean from its beach part.

Another eye-soothing photo that I took during my beach tour and here you can see some fishing boats resting as it was evening time and the fishermen had already returned from the sea and anchored their boats there. A small island can also be seen in the background and the birds were returning to their nests after taking long flights during day time. The evening blue light was giving the whole scenery a mystical vibe and I couldn't miss this moment. So I took some shots with my phone and shared the best one here.

Visiting a beach and not having fish dishes is like eating a boiled egg without salt. So after roaming around the beach while enjoying the unforgettable scenery and collecting shells with my brother and wife, we went to the local market for a tour and found this shop selling dried fish. These fishes are completely dry and can be preserved for a long time without the need for any refrigeration and can be used to cook different types of delicious dishes. The seller was selling a lot of different types of sea fish as you can see from the photos above and we also bought 2 different types from the lot and brought them home to cook them later. The price of them was also cheap and I always try to buy from local shops to help them out and not to mention the product quality that we generally wee here from these local shops are more fresh and tasty.

That was it for today's readers and I hope you enjoy watching the photos and reading my post. Have you also visited a beach recently? If yes, then please don't forget to share your experience in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.

very beautiful shots! I especially love the first photo, the sky looks very dramatic. At first I thought you took these pictures with a DSLR camera but I saw that it was an iPhone 12 at the end. Very impressive
