[ENG] [ESP] My last first day of internship | Mi último primer día de pasantía 💜

As many of you may know from previous posts, I am a Psychology student and a few weeks ago I started my last semester of my degree. Many years have passed since I started everything, when the final goal seemed too far away. But I am finally here, already in the final stretch, and two weeks ago was my last first day of internships, that is, it is the last undergraduate internship I will take, so I will not say it is my first day again, which makes me very happy.

During my degree I have to do 4 internships in four different areas of Psychology, most of which have been good experiences (except the one before this one), where I have managed to grow professionally and as a person. On this occasion I share the space with two of my classmates, one of them is my thesis partner and one of the best friends I have, so it is nice to spend time with her and at the same time, learn more about our degree together.

This time we are in a public care space, at the Municipal Institute for Women, to provide care in Clinical Psychology. Although it is an area that I have always liked, being the most delicate one, it always makes me nervous to put it into practice, but I hope to give my best and learn from the process that, despite making me anxious, I will face with all my fears.

So four interesting months are coming for me, in which I hope to learn, have fun and, most importantly, survive😂.

Como muchos sabrán por posts anteriores, soy estudiante de Psicología y hace unas semanas comencé mi último semestre de la carrera. Han pasado muchos años desde que comencé la carrera, cuando la meta final parecía demasiado lejana. Pero por fin estoy aquí, ya en la recta final, y hace dos semanas fue mi último primer día de pasantías, es decir, es la última pasantía de pregrado que cursaré, por lo que ya no volveré a decir es mi primer día, cosa que me hace muy feliz.

Durante la carrera debo hacer 4 pasantías en cuatro áreas distintas de la Psicología, de las cuales la mayoría han sido buenas experiencias (excepto la anterior a ésta), donde he logrado crecer profesionalmente y como persona. En esta ocasión comparto el espacio con dos de mis compañeras, una de ellas es mi compañera de tesis y de las mejores amigas que tengo, por lo que es bonito pasar tiempo con ella y de paso, aprender más de nuestra carrera juntas.

En esta ocasión estamos en un espacio de atención pública, en el Instituto Municipal de la Mujer, para brindar atención en Psicología Clínica. Aunque es un área que siempre me ha gustado, al ser la más delicada siempre me pone nerviosa llevarla a la práctica, pero espero dar lo mejor de mí y aprender del proceso que a pesar de ponerme ansiosa, enfrentaré con todos mis miedos.

Así que se vienen cuatro meses interesantes para mí, en los cuales espero aprender, divertirme y más importante aún, sobrevivir😂.
