[ENG] [ESP] Aniversario 18 de Psicología UCLA | 18th Psychology Anniversary UCLA 💜

A few days ago, the 18th anniversary of the Psychology program at UCLA, the college I attend, was celebrated. This is an event that has, of course, been held before, but I hadn't participated. Basically out of laziness 😅 the less I have to leave my house, the better, so this type of activity doesn't usually catch my attention. However, since I'm about to finish my degree and these types of events will be the last I experience as an undergraduate, I decided to participate.

So, along with my group of friends, I was part of the organizing committee, supporting from home by making certificates of recognition and during two of the three days of in-person activities. During those days tasks had to be delegated, and I chose one I felt comfortable with, which was taking photos and videos of the event. It was cool, although my back hurt quite a bit the first day from standing for so many hours, so the next day I took advantage of every opportunity to sit down xD

It was nice to see many professors I hadn't seen in years and who were part of my education (although some weren't pleasant to see, to be honest), and to listen to presentations on very interesting topics from incredible professionals. I also got to spend some time with my friends, many of whom I rarely see anymore since it's typical of being in the final stretch.

It was a bit tiring, but I don't regret having participated, as it will be another memory I'll take with me from my college days💜

Hace unos días se celebró el XVIII aniversario de la carrera de Psicología en la UCLA, universidad en la que estudio. Esto es un evento que por supuesto se ha celebrado antes, pero yo no había participado. Básicamente por pereza 😅 mientras menos tengo que salir de mi casa, mejor, así que este tipo de actividad no suele llamarme la atención. Sin embargo, como estoy por culminar la carrera y por tanto este tipo de eventos serán los últimos que viva como estudiante de pre grado, decidí participar.

Así que junto a mi grupo de amigos formé parte del comité organizativo, apoyando desde casa haciendo certificados de reconocimiento y durante dos de los tres días de actividades presenciales. En esos días había que delegar funciones y escogí una con la que me siento cómoda, que fue tomar fotos y videos del evento. Fue chévere aunque eso sí, el primer día me dolió bastante la espalda por pasar tantas horas de pie, así que al siguiente aproveché cada oportunidad que tuve de sentarme xD

Fue agradable ver a muchos profesores que tenía años sin ver y que formaron parte de mi educación (aunque algunos no fue grato verlos, la verdad sea dicha), también escuchar ponencias sobre temas muy interesantes y con profesionales increíbles. Aparte pude pasar un rato con mis amigos, varios de los cuales ya veo poco pues es lo usual de estar ya en la recta final.

Fue cansón pero no me arrepiento de haber participado, pues será un recuerdo más que me llevaré de la universidad💜
