The Old Country of Bogotá: a neighborhood full of charm (Eng) (Esp) El Antiguo Country de Bogotá: un barrio lleno de encanto

Another of my stops during my trip to Bogotá was Old Country, this is a well-known neighborhood in the city, to give you a brief description it is located in the north of the city. From my point of view it is a place full of life, color and charm that is definitely worth visiting. The neighborhood is a high-class residential area, and has a varied architecture that goes from modern buildings to colonial-style houses. The buildings that I observed in the Old Country are really beautiful, with well-kept facades and unique architectural details. Walking through its streets is a pleasant experience, with the opportunity to see the beauty of its buildings.

I must also point out that the Old Country also has several parks and squares that are ideal for enjoying nature in the middle of the city, it is a very popular place for tourists and locals, it was really nice to walk over there.

Before going to Old Country, a friend told me that it is also known for its beautiful flower shops that offer a wide variety of fresh and beautiful flowers, she knows how much I love flowers. In these stores I was able to find flowers such as roses, lilies, gerberas, tulips and orchids, among others, the truth is an ideal place to buy a beautiful bouquet of flowers for someone special (And yes, I bought some for my girlfriend).

Otra de mis paradas durante mi viaje a Bogotá fue el Antiguo Country, este es un barrio muy conocido en la ciudad, para darles una breve descripción está ubicado en la zona norte de la ciudad. Desde mi punto de vista es un lugar lleno de vida, color y encanto que vale la pena visitar sin duda alguna. El barrio es una zona residencial de alta clase, y cuenta con una arquitectura variada que va desde edificios modernos hasta casas de estilo colonial. Las edificaciones que observé en el Antiguo Country son realmente hermosas, con fachadas bien cuidadas y detalles arquitectónicos únicos. Caminar por sus calles es una experiencia agradable, con la oportunidad de ver la belleza de sus edificios.

También debo destacar que el Antiguo Country también cuenta con varios parques y plazas que son ideales para disfrutar de la naturaleza en el medio de la ciudad, es un lugar muy concurrido por los turistas y los habitantes locales, la verdad me resultó muy agradable dar un paseo por allí.

Antes de ir al Antiguo Country una amiga me comentó que este también es conocido por sus hermosas floristerías que ofrecen una amplia variedad de flores frescas y hermosas, ella sabe bien lo mucho que amo las flores. En estas tiendas pude encontrar flores como rosas, lirios, gerberas, tulipanes y orquídeas, entre otras, la verdad es un lugar ideal para comprar un hermoso ramo de flores para alguien especial (Y sí, compré algunas para mi novia).
