Mulberry fruits dyed in nature's colors: A journey from raw to ripe

Friends, how are you all? I hope you are well.

Today I have come to share with you some of the pictures I have captured on my camera and the story behind them. Actually, the incident is not that big, but it seems very special to me. A few days ago, while walking, I suddenly caught sight of a tree and my heart was filled with joy. What a play of colors is going on among the green leaves of the tree! I looked a little closer and saw, oh my! It is a mulberry tree! And there are bunches of mulberry fruits hanging from the tree.

But the fact that the fruits were not just one color, that is what attracted me the most. On the same tree, I saw completely raw green fruits, some turning reddish again, and some were completely dark red or black red, meaning fully ripe! I stood there fascinated by this scene for a while. It seemed as if nature had painted a picture with a paintbrush at its own whim.

I immediately took out my phone and took a few pictures. I thought, how can I not share this beautiful scene with you? After seeing these pictures, you might understand why I liked it so much. Look at the picture, how beautifully these colorful fruits are hidden in the gaps between the green leaves. It seems like small gems are scattered on the branches of the tree.

Seeing this scene reminded me of my childhood. Back then, there weren't so many shops where you could get all the fruits you wanted. The trees around the house were our playground and fruit shop! I especially remember this mulberry tree. When the fruits were raw, they tasted sour, and they made my teeth sour. Still, we would stuff the raw fruits in our mouths. When I grew up a little, when I saw that the fruits were starting to turn a little red, I would get so excited! I would understand, aha! And after a few days, I would be able to eat sweet, ripe mulberries!

And when the fruits turned completely red, there was no more talk! As soon as I came back from school, I would run straight under the tree. The bottom of the tree would be red as the ripe mulberries fell. We would all pick them from the tree and eat them. Our hands and faces would turn red. Mother might have scolded me, but there was a kind of affection mixed in that scolding. I still remember that taste and memory of that day.

Looking at these pictures, I was reminded of those days. It seemed like how quickly time flies! That little me has grown up a lot now, but my love for mulberries has not diminished at all.

I really like seeing this change in nature, how a fruit slowly ripens from unripe to ripe, changes color. It seems like there is a philosophy of life hidden in it. Each stage of life is like this. Sometimes we may be inexperienced like unripe fruits, we mature a little over time, we make mistakes, we learn, and then one day we may feel the sweet taste of life like ripe fruits.

These mulberries are not just fruits, they are like small stories to me. Some may have just started their journey (green), some are in the middle (reddish), and some may have reached their full potential (dark red). But all are part of the same tree, growing in the same sunlight and the same soil.

I think we can learn a lot from nature if we look closely. A mulberry fruit also teaches us to be patient, to understand the beauty of change. When difficult times come in our lives, perhaps we should remember that like unripe fruits, this time will pass, and someday, like ripe fruits, sweet days will come.

Another thing, I have heard that these mulberries are not only fun to eat, but they also have many benefits. They are quite good for our body. In the past, people used to make silk from mulberry leaves, you can imagine how much a tree can give us!

Since taking these pictures, whenever I see a mulberry tree, I stop for a moment. I feel a kind of pull. It seems as if I have an old relationship with the tree and the fruits.

I hope you liked my little story and pictures. This simple beauty of nature has touched your heart. I am very happy to share this piece of my feelings with you on Esteem.

May everyone be well, healthy and enjoy these small gifts of nature.

When we moved to our house, we planted a Mulberry tree in the garden. It will grow, and its already got a few fruits on it. I can't wait for it to get bigger and denser, it will really add character to our back garden. :)

We will just have to make sure that it doesn't get TOO big, as our yard is pretty small.
