Desde ayer pronosticaron lluvias por la proximidad de un frente frío a la Región Occidental de Cuba, esto no impidió que saliera de casa a dar un pequeño paseo al parque de mi pueblo pues estaba interesada en participar en el reto de Wednesday Walk.

Me gusta la lluvia, y no solo esta sino el olor que despide la hierba mojada y el frescor de la temperatura, pues en estos días hemos tenido calor a pesar de estar en un mes invernal.

Salí de casa y ya solo caían pequeñas gotas que eran casi imperceptibles, me aproximé a mi objetivo el parque y comencé a tomar las fotos que les mostraré. Camine por uno de los laterales específicamente el derecho del parque y con mucho cuidado porque como pueden ver las aceras estaban completamente mojadas.

Los árboles son los más beneficiados con la lluvia porque así conservan su verdor, pero como se ve, no impide que caigan las hojas secas.

En el pequeño charco se ven reflejadas las ramas de los árboles y una gota provoca una pequeña honda al caer. Me acerqué al obelisco a las madres, símbolo de amor al hijo. Cuya inscripción dice “Las madres mueren pare el mundo, para sus hijos no”.

El propio parque va guiando mi recorrido en forma de círculo en su centro. Como se aprecia los bancos vacíos y mojados solo unas pocas personas atravesándolo, efecto de la lluvia.

Al final se ven algunos establecimientos el Tribunal Municipal en rojo y La Oficina de Correos en azul.

Los árboles plantados son de las especies Palma Real, Palma Cana, Árbol de Majagua, Framboyán y otras especies ornamentales que adornan el parque y lo hacen ser uno de los parques más bonitos y grandes de la provincia de Artemisa.

Encontré otro espejo de agua en la acera y reflejada en el agua las ramas del framboyán y a su lado casi se entrelazan las ramas de una palma real.

Caminé para llegar al mercado para comprar algunas hortalizas y al mirar al cielo vi que las nubes se empezaban a oscurecer y decidí regresar a casa bajo una lluvia muy fina que anuncia la llegada en horas de la tarde del tan esperado Frente Frío.

Hoy será una tarde perfecta para permanecer en casa e interactuar con los amigos de Hive.
