Photographing strangers in Venezuela
I'm really excited to share this photos with you because this is my first "photographing strangers" dynamic that I've recorded with my new Meta Ray-Ban Smart Glasses, and I have to say, they're everything I expected and more. They're the perfect complement for recording these interactions while I'm talking to and photographing people.

Estoy muy emocionado de compartir estas fotos con ustedes porque es mi primera dinamica de fotografiando desconocidos que grabo con los nuevos lentes Meta Rayban Smart Glasses y debo decir que son lo que esperaba y mas, son el complemento perfecto para grabar estas interacciones mientras voy hablando y fotografiando a las personas.

On this occasion, I photographed a 62 years old man who works selling shaved ice outside a high school. He's a man who works hard every day and also deserves to be seen and recognized, so I approached him and we took these photos.
When I approached him, he was preparing one of his drinks for a customer, so the first photos I took were while he was working:
En esta ocasion fotografié a un señor de 62 años que trabaja vendiendo shaved ice a las afuera de una secundaria, es un hombre que trabaja fuertemente a diario y tambien merece ser visto y tomado en cuenta asi que me acerqué a el y hicimos estas fotos.
En el momento en que me acerqué, el estaba preparando una de sus bebidas para un cliente asi que las primeras fotos que hice fueron mientras el trabajaba:
The shaved ice he was preparing was passion fruit, and the man told me he uses natural passion fruit juice, which makes him stand out among all the other vendors who use artificial flavors.
Este raspado que estaba preparando era de parchita y el señor me dijo que usa jugo de parchita natural, algo que lo hace resaltar entre todos los otros vendedores que usan sabores artificiales.
I told him that when it was ready, he should show it to the camera so I could take a photo:
Le dije que cuando lo tuviera listo lo mostrara a la camara para hacerle una foto:
He handed the drink to his customer, and we were able to talk for a while. As part of the dynamic, I asked him what makes him happy, and his response was:
Entregó la bebida a su cliente y pudimos conversar un rato, como parte de la dinámica le pregunté que es lo que lo hace feliz y su respuesta fue:
What makes me happy is waking up every day with my health so I can go out and work. I'm 62 and here I am working, and I don't take a single pill. My thing is to pray for my health and of my daughters too, that's what makes me happy. Sometimes it rains and I can't go out to work, but I'm happy, I'm happy at home with my family. As long as I have my health, I'm happy.

A mi me hace feliz despertarme todos los dias con salud para poder salir a trabajar, yo tengo 62 y aqui estoy trabajando y no tomo ni una pastilla, mi cosa es orar por mi salud y la de mis hijas, eso es lo que a mi me hace feliz. A veces llueve y no puedo salir a trabajar pero estoy feliz, estoy feliz en mi casa con mi familia, mientras tenga mi salud yo estoy feliz.

Quite a few people came to buy from him in the few minutes I was there with him, thank God.
Llegaron bastantes personas a comprarle en los pocos minutos que estuve allí con el, gracias a Dios.
