Venezuelan Street Photography in color

Hello beautiful Photography Lovers community, I hope you are having a wonderful day!

Today I want to share a series of street photography that I took in the city of San Cristobal, Táchira State, Venezuela. In the city where I live and transit day by day...

In this publication I will share very varied photos that show the daily life of this city that has many contrasts...

As I have said many times, when I go out to the streets I take my camera with me wherever I go to take pictures every time I see a beautiful landscape or anything worth photographing, to share these with you!

Something that I love about this city is that it is built on mountains and we have vegetation and nature everywhere, some times the urbanism itself merges with nature:

Even the playgrounds of kids are full of vegetation, but this is more due to neglect than anything else... still worth photographing...

I took this photo because I loved seeing that "little garden" of flowers on a balcony of a building. The flowers were so colorful and vibrant, and they stood out in contrast to the concrete and brick of the surrounding buildings. It was a reminder of the importance of nature in cities, and how even a small patch of flowers can make a big difference.

A recurring theme in my photographs of the city is old things. People who have come to Venezuela feel that by being here they are going back in time because they see very old things everywhere and many joke that it is a "vintage" country in some way.

Don't be fooled by this Vespa scooter! As old as it looks, it is still in daily use!

Another recurring theme in my photos is people exercising. I have seen people running, biking, swimming, and playing sports everywhere. I think there is a strong fitness culture in San Cristobal because people here are very active and health-conscious. There are many parks and gyms in the city, and people of all ages enjoy exercising.

I hope that you have found this selection of photos that I took throughout the city interesting and that you have enjoyed taking a look at life in a city in Venezuela.
