Urban landscapes - Monomad challenge.
Today I bring you a new set of photographs of the urban landscape of my city. This time I chose photos where the city didn't look empty. My intention with these photos is to show that Venezuela is still full of people who strive to get ahead in this country.
So the first photo is of this street full of life, cars, and people, with a very steep street in front.
Hoy les traigo un nuevo set de fotografias del paisaje urbano de mi ciudad, en esta ocasion escogí fotos en donde la ciudad no se viera vacia, mi intencion con estas fotos es mostrar que Venezuela aun sigue llena de personas que se esfuerzan para salir adelante en este pais.
Asi que la primera foto es de esta calle llena de vida carros y personas, con una calle bastante empinada en frente.

De la siguiente foto me gusta el aspecto urbano que tiene con los edificos al fondo:
The next three photos are of some very busy streets in my city. As you can see, it's full of parked cars because this is a commercial area.
Las siguientes tres fotos son de unas calles bastante concurridas de mi ciudad, como podran ver esta llena de autos estacionados porque esta es una zona comercial.
After taking those photos, I went to another part of the city, and that's why I'm sharing two photos that I really liked because they evoke that feeling of movement.
Despues de hacer esas fotos me fuí a otro lado de la ciudad y por esa razon les dejo dos fotos que me gustaron mucho porque evocan esa sensacion de movimiento:
In Venezuela, it's very common to see people asking for money at traffic lights.
En venezuela es muy comun ver personas pidiendo dinero en los semaforos:

Las siguientes tres fotos me gustan mucho porque las lineas en el piso actuan como lineas guias y te invitan a recorrer las fotos:
I often say that Venezuela feels like it's stuck in time, in the 90s, and this photo with the public transportation and the old car definitely gives that feeling.
Muchas veces digo que venezuela se siente como detenida en el tiempo, en los años 90's y esta foto con el trasporte publico y el auto viejo definitivamente da esa sensacion.
I took the next photo to tell you something about our peculiar way of life. Those 3 groups of people you see in the photo are the closest thing we have to a currency exchange. Those people exchange the different types of currencies we use in my city (Venezuelan Bolívares, Colombian pesos, and US dollars).
La siguiente foto la tomé para contarles algo sobre nuestra peculiar manera de vivir, esos 3 grupos de personas que se ven en la foto son lo mas parecido que tenemos a una casa de cambio, esas personas cambian los diferentes tipo de monedas que usamos en mi ciudad (Bolivares venezolanos, pesos colombianos y dolares americanos)
