Urban Landscapes - Monomad Challenge.
Today, I'm bringing you a series of photos of my city's urban landscape. All of these photos have one thing in common: I meticulously used composition rules to make them aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
I'll start with my favorite photo. It has a vibrant urban feel, and I love how the pine trees look in the background.
Hoy les traigo una serie de fotos del paisaje urbano de mi ciudad, todas estas fotos tienen algo en comun: utilicé al pie de la letra las reglas de composicion para hacer que estas fotos tuvieran una estetica agradable al ojo.
Empezaré por mi foto favorita, tiene un aspecto urbano lleno de vida y amo como se ven los pinos al fondo.
I'll show you the same photo but with the rule of thirds grid so we can delve a bit deeper into the "technical" aspect of framing. I feel this photo is very clean and almost "perfect" in terms of composition.
The street is at the bottom third, the sky is above the top thirds, the person is at one of the intersections, and opposite them, we have a giant building at the opposite intersection.
Les mostraré la misma foto pero con la cuadricula de tercios para poder profundizar un poco mas en el aspecto "tecnico" a nivel de encuadre ya que siento que esa foto me quedó muy limpia y casi "perfecta" a nivel de encuadre.
La calle a nivel del tercio inferior, el cielo por encima de los tercios superiores,la persona en una de las intercepciones y en su opuesto tenemos un edificio gigante en la intercepcion opuesta.
In the following photos, I used the lines of the street as a guide that invite you to explore the photograph, first from bottom to top:
En las siguientes fotos utilicé las lineas de la calle como una guia que te invitan a recorrer la fotografia, primero de abajo hacia arriba:
And I also took other photos where I used leading lines diagonally:
Y tambien hice otras fotos en donde utilicé las lineas guias de manera diagonal:
And also in a curved shape. In all these photos, the lines guide your eye through the image:

Next, I'll show you some urban photos that feature elements I found interesting enough to photograph, like this bridge that must be hundreds of years old and is still standing:
Y a continuación les mostraré algunas fotos urbanas que tienen elementos que me parecieron lo suficientemente interesante para fotografiarlos, como este puente que debe tener cientos de años aun sigue en pie:
After crossing the bridge, I arrived at a neighborhood, and from there, I could see this scene that somehow reminded me of "Brazilian favelas."
Al cruzar el puente llegué a un barrio y desde allí pude ver esta escena que de alguna manera me recordaba "las favelas brazileñas"
In another part of the city, I saw the facade of a house that looks like the outskirts of a castle quite curious!
En otro lugar de la ciudad vi esta facha de una casa que parece las afueras de un castillo, bastante curioso!
I love how full of life the city looks in this photograph:
Amo lo llena de vida que se vé la ciudad en esta fotografia:
What you see on the right of the next photo is the football stadium, which is an emblem of this city:
Lo que ven a la derecha de la siguiente foto es el estadio de futbol y es un emblema de esta ciudad:
