Studio photography for a kid and AI test to change background - Monomad Challenge.

Today I am back with a new set of photographs that I took in my studio, I made these photos because my aunt was visiting the city and I offered to take some photographs for her, she told me that she did not feel comfortable being photographed but that her daughter (my niece) did like photos so I could take photos of her hahaha, we coordinated a day and made this photo session a reality.

The first photo I took was while doing the light test, I told my niece to stand there without moving while configuring the lights and it made me laugh a lot that she stood in this position literally motionless hahaha and I took this photo:

Hoy estoy de vuelta con un nuevo set de fotografias que tomé en mi estudio, estas fotos las hice porque mi tia estaba estaba de visita en la ciudad y le ofrecí hacerle algunas fotografias, ella me dijo que no se sentia comoda siendo fotografiada pero que a su hija (mi sobrina) si le gustaban las fotos asi que podia hacerle fotos a ella jajaja, cordinamos un dia y hicimos realidad esta sesion de fotos.

La primera foto que tomé fue mientras hacia la prueba de luz, le dije a mi sobrina que se parara allí sin moverse mientras configuraba las luces y me dió mucha risa que se paró en esta posicion literalmente inmovil hahaha y le hice esta foto:

We started by taking a couple of normal photos, with the girl standing and then sitting on a cube.

Empezamos por hacer un par de fotos normalitas, con la niña de pie y luego sentada en un cubo:

Since she is a baby I told her to sit on the floor so she could be "more free" and this was the position in which she sat.

Como es una bebé le dije que se sentara en el suelo para que pudiera estar "mas libre" y esta fue la posición en la que se sentó:

And then she made this pose naturally, resulting in a very tender photo!

Y luego hizo esta pose de manera natural, resultando en una foto muy tierna!

My aunt told me that she had bought a princess costume for the girl and that this was the perfect opportunity to use them and go out like a princess in the photos so I came up with the idea of offering to edit the photo with AI so that it would not have the typical white background but something more set to the child's costume and since I was not working with a client it was the perfect opportunity to try it out and I must say that I was very surprised, the result is quite acceptable!

Mi tía me dijo que le había comprado un disfraz de princesa a la niña y que esta era la oportunidad perfecta para usarlos y salir como una princesa en las fotos asi que se me ocurrió la idea de ofrecerles editar la foto con IA para que no tuviera el tipico fondo blanco si no algo mas ambientado al disfraz de la niña y como no estaba trabajando con un cliente era la oportunidad perfecta para probar que tal y debo decir que me sorprendió muchisimo, el resultado es bastante aceptable!

The AI I used to change the background was Geminis with nano banana and I looked on Pinterest for a reference image for the background, I told the AI to keep the girl without altering her face or pose and to integrate her into the reference background, then I used exactly the same prompt for the 3 photos and I feel that the result is quite acceptable since it seems that all the photos were taken on the same set.

La IA que utilicé para cambiar el fondo fue Geminis con nano banana y busqué por pinterest una imagen de referencia para el fondo, le dije a la IA que mantuviera a la niña sin alterar su cara ni su pose y que la integrara en el fondo de referencia, luego usé exactamente le mismo prompt para las 3 fotos y siento que el resultado es bastante aceptable ya que parece que todas las fotos fueron tomadas en el mismo set.

On the other hand, if you zoom into the photo it immediately begins to lose a lot of quality so it is still something that I would NOT offer to my paying work clients, however, to experiment with some photos without work commitment it is quite good and I was very surprised, I know that in a couple of years it will be an incredible and very useful tool in the workflow of many people.

Por otro lado, si le haces zoom a la foto inmediatamente empieza a perder muchísima calidad así que aun es algo que NO ofrecería a mis clientes de trabajos pagos, mas sin embargo, para experimentar con algunas fotos sin compromiso laboral esta bastante bien y me sorprendió muchísimo, se que en un par de años será una herramienta increíble y muy útil en el flujo de trabajo de muchísimas personas.
